Most people have feelings first then develop a "rational" explanation about why they have the feelings. This does not always yield reasonable results.
“...you keep your feelings to yourself.”
There are definitely times to share your feelings. Just don’t confuse them with rational thinking.
I encountered it many times, in fact that is the norm rather than the exception.
There is such a thing as a "gut instinct" or "gut feeling" that many of us rely upon when choosing one of the options. Then as things progress, you keep monitoring and adding facts as they become available.
Pray that your decision was the correct one. Never blame someone else for making it for you.
