Bernie Sanders suggests Disney should use 'Avengers: Endgame' profits to pay workers 'middle class wage'

I didn't hear Bernie calling for the workers to pay for the movie. If you want a share of the profits, invest in the project. I'm sure the unios representing the workers looks after them.
If the uninions invested enough to get a .5% interest and received a like reward from the gross proceeds, they would gross $12M. Not bad.

The movie unions do what union bosses always do. They promise good retirement pay and free retirement health insurance. As long as the union members don't get replaced by technology (e.g., digital effects) the retirees will be ok and the union bosses will get richer.

The big mistake: paying for ongoing expenses (wages) with one-time surpluses (big profits from a single movie). This is one of the mistakes that sank Mike Dukakis' presidential run in 1988.
