    Love the Bloomberg writer's rationale.
In previous article he says the fed should keep rates down. Trump puts a guy in the Fed to do exactly that, and he does nothing but complain.
(He also apparently feels that whites should pay reparations to blacks, so his irrationality is somewhat consistent.)

A libertarian in charge of the Fed, I like it!
Sack all the economists, shoot the bankers, sell off the computers, make no pronouncements, give no instructions,
rent out the buildings except the foyer where there will be a big dart board.

"Moore’s appointment demonstrates Trump’s increasing politicization of key government functions, and the valuation of loyalty and ideology over expertise and judgment."

Haven't we gotten used to that under Obama? Bloomberg did not whine about it then. The appointees were called "czars". Remember?

"Moore has told The Washington Post that he and the president have spoken about the Fed and that Moore felt Trump's other nominees to the Fed board were too conventional and didn't understand the president's economic vision."

That is to say the least.

Powell has been acting like a robot w/o thinking on rates. He is no different than Yellen who rushed to his defense upon the president's critic.

If Krugman is melting down, you can be sure the move was the correct one.
