It goes with what I have known since the late 80's, we were driving society to a state run controlled social structure with all our freedoms taken away and when I hear terms like "Fair" and all the "special groups" that get laws made for them, then normal laws twisted to match (like you cannot exercise free speech if you "offend" someone), I realize that Atlas Shrugged was the preeminent future history story. Ayn Rand saw this coming a lot earlier than anyone else.
Two ways to achieve equality. One is for those behind to do their best to catch up to those ahead of them. The other is to drag those ahead back to the pack. It still amazes me that lefties think the latter solution is the correct one.
Someone once told me about a belief he had. He said he could take a rich person and a poor person, and take away everything each of them owned.
He would then give each of them $10,000 and stand back. He firmly believed that within a short period of time, the poor person would be poor again, and the rich person would be rich again.
The older I get and the more I see the goings on in society (e.g, Commander-in-Chief-wannabe Warren's 2% wealth tax), the more I believe it.
You gotta admire Trump! I once asked an attorney friend why everyone keeps shooting at me. He said, 'You are always out if front of us. You make a delicious target!' The world is full of wannabes who are so jealous of a successful person they cannot control their vitriol!
I enjoyed this piece: Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald stated: “I think that in a lot of ways Donald Trump broke the brains of a lot of people"... [] https://explainlife.com/pulitzer-winn... Broke their brains is precisely correct...they have no mind...just a brain in a body...and they are "woke" to the fact that, now, it's broke.
The guy talks as if he knew the deep state was there, but he doesn't label it that. But the way he talked about "people are fed up" read exactly what Trump voters were there for.
I have to say that I think this plan to drain the swamp "Globally" had to have started quite some time ago...it's a brilliant plan once you realize the scope of it.
But if you try sometimes you might find
You get what you need.

It was before Trump got elected.
It will be interesting to see what the reactions are.
