So lets see, a Georgis RINO, says Trump should get a whipping because he states the obvious, there is no debate about the fact he went to London, got a fake dossie paid for the Clinton and the DNC and got together with a "Gang of 8" and then trotted over to the FBI to proudly deliver it knowing it was fake, and they want to be proud of this? The word traitor seems appropriate. The lamestream will bask in the reflected glory of someone with no honor. Of course, the lamestream doesnt care about right wrong, lying and cheating, they do it every day....

    Looters protecting their own kind.
    "the country deserves better"
Yes, the country deserves better than McCain, Isakson, and most of the con-gress.
That is one reason that Trump was elected: to bring to light the vampire looters like McCain and clear out the dead wood, like Isakson, that destroys individual liberty every day.

McCain built his own legacy. Just because he's dead doean't mean the damage he caused has finished. Speaking the truth is acid to politicians as evidenced by the comments people (swamp buddies?) are making to defend the dead establishment RINO.

Exactly, AJ. He is definitely the gift that keeps on giving. Megan and Cindy are harpies as well, and must have been in on the whole deal. Follow the money, as they say....

I was a USN Fly boy while he was in the Hanoi Hilton and never once heard anyone call him a hero. Sure did hear lots of other labels assigned to him after all the childish antics he pulled and got away with coming from Admiralty. I do agree with one thing, Let the dead dog lie.

McCain was an arrogant man. I have met with his staffers several times. I doubt he would have amounted to much had he not come from admiralty. Being in defense contracting, he was just a douche. There was certainly not a massive interest in protecting the US or its soldiers in what he supported. Clearly a dominant denizen of the swamp.

However, I sure liked him better than Obama in 2008.

Fortunately, McCain is gone forever and should be forgotten. He was someone who lived off people feeling sorry for his "POW status". Enough is enough. Other than that, his time in government was not that great. He stuck us with Obamacare, probably forever, and fought Trump every step of the way because Trump saw through his whining about "service to the country".

How much service is sitting in a vietnam jail cell singing like a canary. Trump saw through him and called him out, and rightly so.

His daughter is a piece of sh&* actually. Anyone who sits on the VIEW cant be good.

Said this elsewhere. May as well put it here, too:

IMHO, McCain is the poster child for what happens when yesterdays hero somehow morphs into today's village idiot. People want to thank the hero for the service, but nobody wants the village idiot deciding for us what to think, say, write, or vote.

I was quite frankly disgusted at the hooplah for McCain's funeral. If they wanted to honor him for his military service that would have been one thing, but his diplomatic service was only to further progressive policies and candidates. No thanks.

I agree. He was a progressive in terms of his actions. He whined and tried to take advantage of people feeling sorry for his POW experiences. I happen to agree that I prefer people who were NOT captured. Being captured is NOT an effective thing for a soldier in a war.

I dont think we should have been in vietnam actually. It resulted in massive inflation here at home, and for what??

I think there is an argument for combating socialism/communism militarily, but it has to be all-in. The primary problem with the Vietnam war was in its execution: Johnson and Nixon were using it to prop up the military-industrial complex - not to defeat communism as an ideology. It's the same problem I have with the "war on terror". If you really wanted to do something, you would confront the evil that is the Islamic ideology. That is where 99%+ of the world's terrorism comes from. (Despite what CNN wants to say, White Nationalists are a pittance in comparison.)

We might be better off in the long run because McCain lost to Obama. While Obama is a moral and intellectual horror story, so is McCain. If McCain had won, the Republican Party would have caved into everything the Progressive left wanted, instead of 90% of it.

Being a combat veteran of Vietnam, I have to give John credit for even going over there and carrying out his duty. As far as his experiences with the Hanoi Hilton, no one can imagine what that might have done to his mind or even his character, maybe it even created his brain cancer. I’ve always disagreed with him about torture so I guess that makes me a Trump type of person, but I didn’t experience what he did. As far as the leak he may have thought the dossier might have been possible, at least thought it should be investigated. Without its exposure, we would know nothing and so many other things might not have been discovered, such as the lefts activities.

As far as Trump’s mouth, I think either the president is totally an egotistical immature person that when he doesn't get this way he goes off the deep end because he really doesn't care what people think of him, he’s just got to pat himself on the back, or, it’s all just part of his plan to keep the media and naysayers busy with that crap that he says, while they end up exposing themselves for everything they accuse him of doing. They say he’s a liar, they expose themselves as liars. He forces them to actually give us a road map to their indiscretions and illegal doings. If I’m one, then you’re one too, is what we played when we were kids. We just don’t see Trump’s whole plan yet. Perhaps the lefts accusations and demands will result in a whole lot more exposure and a reflection of what they are involved in. Trump just has to let them accuse him of it first in order to expose them. Remember the “Trump didn’t pay any taxes” from Harry Reed? Perhaps and hopefully there will be enough evidence exposed to actually put Hillary away for Benghazi, she obviously lied to Congress, and all the other things Trump has driven out of hiding. I just can’t wait for the movie, I hope and pray I am here long enough to see it.

I didn't like McCain for his "campaign finance reform", which was un-Constitutional. But I still voted for him as the only alternative to Obama. He may have done rottlen things. But he's dead, and can't come back to defend himself. I usually think that one should leave dead people alone---except in the case of someone who has been crammed down people's throats, like FDR.

Typical media coverage...they spent all of their time trashing President Trump's personal comments about a dead Senator, while totally neglecting the reason the President was at the tank factory.

He was there to celebrate the increase of the facilities business that had seriously faltered during Obama's reign, while he attempted to permanently cripple this nation's ability to defend itself.

Bravo to President Trump (though he probably should have avoided the comment(s) about McCain).

I have a friend who was a five year prisoner and I don't even want to know what he went through. I asked him how he survived and his answer was, 'they thought I was crazy. Each time they started up, I proceeded to recite the Rosary. Scared them.'
McCain, on the other hand, looked like he'd been on a vacation!
