One more attempt to suppress voters in non-democratic voters in the minority and in some cases the majority. The smaller states (lower population) would be in a position where their votes don't count since California, New York Illinois and several other large states traditionally vote Demo and between they have a large percentage of the population. This is why the Constitution has the Electoral College as an integral pat of it workings.
Without this agreement and compromise the Constitution would never have been ratified. In todays environment, without such a measure the survival of theUSA as it is now would e in serious doubt.
I will assure you that if the situation ever changes to where the large populations states are controlled by the republicans, you will see the Dems campaign for a repeal of such an amendment.

The bastards want their mob rule of democracy while extolling the virtues of our wonderful democratic system. The Founders were brilliant, assuming your not an anti-Federalist.

The very nature of the Electoral College ensures that minority interests (i.e. states with smaller populations) are represented equally.
Its abolition hastens the death of the republic.

Ok! If you don't like the laws on the books, just say so! Change them each time they don't suit you! What a way to go! Does this work for all of us?
