Pay attention to your dogs! When Fred (my Texas cow dog terrier) has his squeaky ball between his front paws guarding it, my Foxy (ChiWowWow) tries to get it. Fred weighs 28 pounds, Foxy may weigh 7! She nags and nags and finally he pushes the ball to her and lets her play with it until she puts it down and trots off. She's tired of that game and goes in search of something else.
