'This is a watershed moment': It all starts to fall apart now.

Most of us have seen the evidence and are aware of what happened in court but that is not what this post is about. It's about the beginning of the end for the left.

"On Wednesday's show, Glenn Beck took a closer look into the bizarre circumstances surrounding the sudden dismissal of all 16 charges against "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett and explained why he believes this latest controversy will be the catalyst to stall the social justice movement."

""This is a watershed moment for the social justice movement and the country," Glenn said. "Now, it could have been Kavanaugh, Covington, the Mueller report — but history will show it was Smollett that brought it all down." "

The left is increasingly arrogant and their position is untenable. They are beginning to eat their own.
They have gone too far and now it all begins to crumble.

1965 the Twins were in the World Series against the Dodgers. That was the impetus for my dad to go color tv. Sports and the Match game and some movies but many shows were still black and white.

We didn't take a lot of picts in those days...my Dad saved a lot of old picts but they were just people shots...not one of my models...shame.

I had an array of 20 models back twentyfive years ago. The owner of a hobby shop gave me a 1000 dollars for the lot...some were built! He was blown away at the shinny paint and perfect chrome and wired engines...achieved by applying chrome leaf pressed on and finely cut.
I do still have one left that I built, a Datsun 240Z to look like the first Z car that I bought in 72, it's on my dresser along with a pict of the real car, it was one of those metal kits.

Oh yes - forgot to warn you: the prices are astronomical for most of them (outrageous actually), but many have not been made in 50+ years, and once they're gone, they're gone. Try to find an old .44 Henry Rimfire cartridge for sale, and it will likely be $150-$200, but then they haven't been made in over a hundred years. Have fun!

Here's a link you might like. There is a company that sells its old inventory of classic model kits they used to make in the 1960s. It seems that just because they stopped making them, there still exists a limited inventory. I just love going through the pages just to see all the models I actually built (quite a few!). https://www.oldmodelkits.com

I was a child, as I recall, when it took place. (Born in 1951). It was on the news that 3 civil rights workers were missing. I believe it was a few days later that the bodies were reported found.(This may have been in 1962, I don't remember the year. Or the town). I think one of them was white, maybe two were black.
I do remember that many years later (maybe 1980 or later) there was a TV movie or something about it, entitled "Mississippi Burning".

    Grab a bucket and mop,
    Scrub the bottom and top.
    There is nothing so clean
    As my burger machine!

    With a broom -- and a brush
Clean it up for the rush
    Before you open the door,

    (Spoken)_
Put a shine on that floor!

    (Singing)
    When we’ve finished, what then?
    Start all over again!
Tell me, what does it mean?
    At McDonald’s it’s clean!

    You deserve a break today!
So get up and get away!

    To McDonald’s!
    McDonald’s!
    McDonald’s!

I used to build customized model cars...had hundreds of them until my mom got drunk, mad at my dad and smashed them all...All that time and creativity.
First one to build a working convertible top at 1/25 scale.

That’s how easy it is for TV to brainwash folks
This jingle has never left me “ from the land of sky blue waters....waters
From the land of pine and soft balsam
comes the beer refreshing... Hamms the beer refreshing....Hamms
Brewed where nature works her wonders

I remember the premier it was on a Sunday night at 7pm prime time in Minnesota. Bullwinkle was soon to be bested by the FBI with Effrin Zimbalist Jr and then The Fugitive Who was searching for the one armed man. Today he would be the limb challenged man.
