One of world's rarest whale species has mini-baby boom off New England coast

This is good news. The "Right Whale" was hunter to near extinction at the start of the whaling era because it was the "Right" Whale go catch --Had lots of oil. Now there are a whopping 411 remaining. With 7 mom-baby pairs spoted we have a population increase of 1.7% Not sure that is enough to prevent extinction.
There may be some in the mid ocean areas that have not been counted but there can't be too many. AS the scientist say, a mini-baby boom in Cape Cod Bay. hope other areas aare a productive
