As bad and sad as this was, think of what it will be like if (when) the socialists get in control. Everything will be like this. Remnds me of Orwell's 1984. Does it remind you of that also?

Giving good news is easy.
To give bad news- the attack on the bridge has failed, the army has been wiped out, you are fired, you have not long to live- requires some skill usually part of professionalism.
The hospital has failed.
