The aftermath of Syria’s chemical weapons attacks

The article reads as if nothing has or will change. Assad looks poised to retake the entire country and gets by with no penalty for using his chemical weapons. The US strikes and Russia rebuilds (my guess, not fact). I'm no fan of the ICC but should they not put Assad on trial for Crimes Against Humanity?

When they do Assad should have to sit and listen to it. Of course that might be terms cruel and unusal punishment, at least here in the States.

Of course Assad should be on trial for Crimes Against Humanity! Any use of chemical weapons by anyone is such. But, first, everybody has to sit down and talk about it endlessly!
