A World Without Metal

Let's start with my two favorite words, "What If."
What if in ancient times there were civilizations just as advanced as us, maybe even more so, but never developed smelting. Never converted ore into metal. What would the remains of such civilizations look like? Puma Punku, maybe?Let's have some of you scientists ponder this for a bit. It would explain everything except for one thing which is how they moved and manipulated those heavy rocks. Using rock is a onne step process, making metal is a simple two step process. I'll bet if we showed them how, they'd be astounded at the ease of creating metal. I'll also bet if they showed us how they manipulated rock, we'd also be astounded at the simplicity of it.

This old brain still wanders around in Wonderland.
What if dinosours Developed big brains after 2 million years and were intelligent as homo sapiiens only to be wiped out before they could do anything we could remember? Although it is possible that consciousness could be manifest in other ways than strictly brain cells.

          You mean Homo Erectus?...LMBUTTO...

Consciousness is not in the brain as you know, instinctive awareness of the environment is in the brain of all animals, and in a sense, in all plant life as well.

I'll give you a BIG, what if at no charge: It has been said recently that we, (people) are holograms.
So I ask you, Are we the "Reflection" or are we the "Image"?

Holographic consciousness? Maybe, But I think at that points the rubber band snaps. I sure would like to know more. Probably what we call death might help. I'd let you know, but if Houdini tried and didn't make it, doubt if I could. But then......

You me and Dan just might share a quantum entanglement so if one of us should die first, spin right, left, up, down... all at the same time and we, whom have yet departed will know...
