          Section consolidates sections 1 and 2 of title 18, U.S.C., 1940 ed.
          The language referring to collection of the fine was omitted as obsolete and repugnant to the more humane policy of modern law which does not impose criminal consequences on the innocent.
          The words "every person so convicted of treason" were omitted as redundant.
          Minor change was made in phraseology.
          Amendments
          1994—Pub. L. 103–322 inserted "under this title but" before "not less than $10,000".

    I was irate a little over one year ago about how the previous administration had surveilled an opponent, and posted something political on FB. Yesterday morning, I ran across that post, and shared it again with an update based on Mueller report findings.

    A vigorous prosecution is the best corrective action. A bold statement that the actions undertaken by the Obama administration needs to be made, with severe consequences, so that this never happens again.

    "MEDIA [FAKE NEWS] IS NOT unbiased journalism but POLITICALLY MOTIVATED AND CONTROLLED." That gets under scored when the Premier of the Communist News Network is given a "First Amendment Award" for his propaganda machine lying to the public every hour on the hour for two years straight - and that's only on the one subject of 'Russia Collusion".
