I had a thought earlier.
See, I like dogs. I like dogs a lot.

But, I strongly suspect that a disproportionate percentage of the population of the Gulch prefer cats.

So, who here are dog people, and who here are cat people?

Hahaha. My cat knows which drawer has her treats in it. She knows better than to try and open it though. My mom used to cook the Thanksgiving Turkey on a rotisserie. The dogs and cats would sit in a line watching it go around.

I love dogs and cats. I have one cat that I adore. I just bought my first house (a fixer-upper) and now have a yard to put a dog in. So, as soon as I get settled in, that will be one of the very first things I do.

Pretty tough to pick a favorite because we like to keep animals for several reasons. They are great entertainment. They can be calming and relaxing. They help to teach children about responsibilities. I think that there are huge benefits for the mind in the acts of keeping any animal and realizing that it depends on you for life. And I think that they offer a value in exchange for the care the receive, even if they don't know it.
