Yes. And the victim thinking portion of it bothers me the most. Someone believing in a conspiracy and saying they're taking appropriate action that will deal with it would bother me less.

Haha, it's true. Liberals propagate conspiracies about corporations, and Conservatives propagate conspiracies about government.

Yes. Their nonsense works the other way. They say that before PPACA became law insurance companies had no obligation to honor their agreements.

It's almost the exact same view, though: "I'm powerless in the face of [gov't/corporations]. They're actions could cause an apocalyptic disaster. What they do drives outcomes in my life more than what I do. We're pawns in their carefully-constructed conspiracies. Almost everything that happens can be traced back to [gov't/corporate] skulduggery!"

"...but I've seen the TV-news view of the world suck in people I know to be otherwise intelligent."

Does this inversely apply to otherwise intelligent people, who believe that Obamacare is "a great success"?

Its frustrating when the interviewer clearly shows her bias. I think Ms Elmers could have done a better job saying why Obamacare is not working. They need to talk more about the people who are losing coverage or seeing huge premium increases.

The issue is not whether it will work or not.
The issue is whether or not America can survive universal slavery.

Since the Canucks like to gripe and moan about us calling ourselves "America", and since now that this horror has been perpetrated upon an all-too unsuspecting and all-too willing public, we should rename the country.

I still think "Obamanation" appropriate. And I bet the messiah would like that too.

I now have to buy a product I didn't buy because I didn't want it.
