Gavin Newsom will be the first Democrat in more than a century to succeed another Democrat as governor and the succession also marks a big generational transition in California politics.

A long-dominant geriatric quartet from the San Francisco Bay Area – Gov. Jerry Brown, Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi – has been slowly ceding power to younger political strivers.

Moreover, Newsom is succeeding someone who could be considered his quasi-uncle, since his inauguration continues the decades-long saga of four San Francisco families intertwined by blood, by marriage, by money, by culture and, of course, by politics – the Browns, the Newsoms, the Pelosis and the Gettys.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I still have a few friends out there.
I can honestly say it isn't because they are dumb.

But it feels like a reality distortion field!

My friends do NOT support many of these ideas. But the "Conservative" side has been so VILIFIED and INEFFECTUAL that they would blow a gasket to vote conservative on anything. And it would make them a social pariah. So, they are not overtly involved in politics. The keep their heads down, and their mouths shut. (Having learned NOTHING from history).

and they either don't vote or simply vote to avoid being "part of the problem" as they are brainwashed to see problems.

The non-stop play to "feelings" and "Doing the right thing", and "Fairness" is crazy. I moved away in 1992 (after a short stint there), and while the weather was wonderful... The Fruits and Nuts are in actually running the place!

Ayn Rand mentioned in The Fountainhead that Toohey did not get much of a following for his Socialist cause among the guys at school who were working their way through; it seems that it was the elites (e.g., the "limousine liberals") who were attracted.

The People in California are dumb enough to keep voting for these Crooks. They therefore deserve what is happening to them. The sad part is that these Crooks also bring their criminal activity to a national stage. If their effects were only local I wouldn't care. They get what they deserve but as this is effecting all of us.....It is really messed up and I wish that I had a suggestion to effect a change.

Yes I did know that most of the presidents come fro: Aristocratic families.
Somebody I listened to someone who was convinced Slick Willie is of Rothschild descent.
With Justine Trudeau being a Son of Fidel and this family tree we need to cut down the forest , if you will.

Common knowledge? among us, no...among them...sure it's common practice.

Hell, it is said, by family tree investigators, that obobo, babuskies, hiltery/billbob and cartertonia were all related to the queen of england
