    Ancient Aliens are to blame; snicker, snicker! I believe more objective scientific/archeological research is needed to determine if those man-made underground dwellings in different parts of the world were constructed because of pending Earth catastrophes in the past. Its' just I would like more substantial proof.

      Dating these areas seem to coincide with these cycles...now, how they were made and what level of technology was employed, is where it gets interesting.
      Here is an interesting note: Some in China and that area that were closer to sea level were flooded!...many dead and That was the area that was facing the sun last time it went nova...

    Comets might offer years warning. Ion changes could be seen months ahead of time. Rotation changes would mean an event is imminent.

      I was always fascinated with the carved out underground cities in Turkey. The experts were suggesting that the people used them to hide out from their enemies. That just didn’t ring true to me. They were avoiding the surface plain and simple. Why? Certainly to avoid extremely harsh conditions for quite sometime. We are getting a much clearer picture as to the potential issues they faced. Now we have DUMBS. I don’t think I will get an invite when they are needed. The cave/tunnels

        Belize is close to the equator which means they will get the worst waves and winds, those caves are not that high up and probably fill with water. I might take a look at a topographical map in that area.

          My water brother is always looking out for me :)
          I was thinking Belize because of our current cold snap . I thought the cave that looked out over the mountains was cool and loaded with resources.. The thing is I would be insistent to give up my space to a younger human.
          We are talking about 2044. I will be in my mid Eighties by then. Really just a burden, as I doubt I would be able to carry my load so to speak.( No offense to any elders )Plus at that age in my mind, going out in a flash would be the way to go. I am extremely adverse to pain both physical and emotional.

            Me too, but remember the advancement of science/biology just might be able to extend our lives.
            Survivors will need someone with a mind, knowledge and wisdom in order to not devolve into pagan barbarians again.
