Dating these areas seem to coincide with these cycles...now, how they were made and what level of technology was employed, is where it gets interesting.

Ancient Aliens are to blame; snicker, snicker! I believe more objective scientific/archeological research is needed to determine if those man-made underground dwellings in different parts of the world were constructed because of pending Earth catastrophes in the past. I was thinking Belize because of our current cold snap . I thought the cave that looked out over the mountains was cool and loaded with resources.. The thing is I would be insistent to give up my space to a younger human.
We are talking about 2044. I will be in my mid Eighties by then. Really just a burden, as I doubt I would be able to carry my load so to speak.( No offense to any elders )Plus at that age in my mind, going out in a flash would be the way to go. I am extremely adverse to pain both physical and emotional.

Belize is close to the equator which means they will get the worst waves and winds, those caves are not that high up and probably fill with water. I might take a look at a topographical map in that area.

I was always fascinated with the carved out underground cities in Turkey. The experts were suggesting that the people used them to hide out from their enemies. That just didn’t ring true to me.
