CPD Action is led by Ana Maria Archila, one of the two women who infamously confronted Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake in an elevator prior to the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Archila was a guest of Ocasio-Cortez for Trump’s State of the Union.

Archila serves as co-executive director at the Center for Popular Democracy (CPD) and maintains the same position as the group’s activist arm, the Center for Popular Democracy Action.

CPD, which is advocating the Green New Deal, is heavily financed by billionaire George Soros. In October 2014, literature that was part of a CPD event listed Soros’s Open Society Foundations as one of CPD’s “three biggest funders.” The Foundations provided the CPD with $130,000 in 2014 and $1,164,500 in 2015, tax documents show. In 2016, Soros’s Open Society Policy Center provided $705,000 to the Center for Popular Democracy’s Action Fund.

CPD is highly involved in anti-Trump activism. In May 2017, CNN reported that the Center for Popular Democracy Action fund unveiled an “$80 million effort to coordinate the work of dozens of smaller progressive groups from around the country” as part of what the news network characterized as the anti-Trump “resistance” movement.

People’s Action, another Sunrise partner pushing the Green New Deal, is a merger of a group that previously went by the name of National People’s Action. National People’s Action was also funded by Soros to the tune of $1.2 million and reportedly helped to train protesters for the Occupy Movement, which was also close to Soros funding. The Washington Times previously reported that Soros donated to People’s Action itself.

350.org, which is aiding Sunrise in pushing the Green New Deal, has disclosed a donation from the Tides Foundation. Tides, in turn, has been financed by Soros and has been a donor partner of Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

Also forming the backbone of advocacy for the Green New Deal are the Sierra Club and Greenpeace. Sierra has received funding from Soros’s Open Society Foundations. Greenpeace has been funded by the Soros-financed Tides Foundation. Tides also funds the Sierra Club.

The Green New Deal, meanwhile, is viewed in progressive activist circles as taking the mantle from something called the Leap Manifesto, a so-called clean energy plan co-authored by radical activist and author Naomi Klein.

the communist/democrat party has done their homework....they use words and phrases that have positive emotive connotations...hence post-announcement polls have 60% approval ratings from voters...this is now a majority/tyrannical country, no longer a republic...you have to beat them at this game or like the conservative, you will lose your liberty and your freedom...

Yes. I would say she was already thinking rationalily but just misinformed earlier. I like her and don’t even think of her as black but just a person

So that would tend to indicate that after the genetic lottery and after a very few years of upbringing, the die is cast as to rationality vs emotion. Doesnt bode well for the USA.

I think they never had to use reason and never
were never made accountable for their behavior.

I have been wondering for a long time why some people are more rational and some are driven by mindless emotion. Exposure to objectivism doesn’t seem to change people who are “emotionally driven”. It has occurred to me that genetically some people might experience emotions from birth much stronger and they just rely on feelings without regard to the source of the feelings.- resulting in a leftist

Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth”, is a law of propaganda often attributed to the Nazi Joseph Goebbels. Among psychologists something like this known as the "illusion of truth" effect.

Yes people are different. Thank goodness.
I don’t want to live amongst robots.
My point is , I know plenty of men who are just as
Ignorant or lazy in their thoughts as an ignorant women .
I would rather spend time with a beautiful smart woman who is genetically sufficient than a male counter part, and I do.

I think just as people are genetically different in athletic ability, it appears that studies have shown people are genetically different also in brain functions such as speed of processing and ability to process complex associations. For some real world verification, check out the extraordinary powers of savants. It only makes common sense that people vary in brain powers and capacity. After all the brain is a mechanical and chemical device formed by genes.

Projection in this leftist narrative .The Q army is being attacked. Hillar tweeted about negative tweets inferring foreign dissidents.
Russian bots used to defeat the Alabama Sen.
Turned out to be the Dems. Q and the citizen journalists are the target.

“ Relative strength of emotions and reasoning ability.” That makes no sense.
That’s like comparing the engine to the brakes on a car. Two different functions unrelated except they serve a purpose for a car.
Useing your mind to identify your objective and using your perceptions and abilities to achieve your goal. That has nothing to do with how you feel about it.
Emotions play a roll in our humanity.
Joy of achievement is part of the life well lived .
The breaking heart of grief . The love of a spouse,of a child or Grandchild. Putting down a beloved pet. My life’s motives are to include those gifts as I act in my own self interest. Ayn Rand was a Woman and her reasoning ability topped mine and yours.
    Don’t confuse brainwashed and lazy
Idiots who react and don’t think. They are not gender specific.
When you say .”suffering of so-called migrants “
Do you mean the 50% of girls and women who are raped before they get to the crossing.
Or is it the 30% of minors being trafficked by the rapists?

I think that our present voting system is a bit antiquated, expensive, and not nearly as accurate as we are led to believe.

I think that the winner should win by at least 1% to compensate for errors, miscountings, etc.

I also think that the electoral college should be retained so as to prevent elections to be won by whoever leads in 3-4 leftist states. As it is, the elections are already a big mob rule- given that everything is on the table as to whats voted on.

Finally, I think that we should not vote away individual rights thru elections.

I do think that it is reasonable to think that genetic makeup of an individual can affect things like the relative strength of emotions and reaasoning ability.

Although this genetic makeup is definitely individually expresed, I think its reasonable to think that there are differences on the average characteristic between men and women. For example women are designed to be more interested in having children and are also known on the average to be more emotional than men.
No doubt there are environmental factors, but I think some of these characteristics are bred into human nature for survival and reproductive reasons.

Look at the response of women to the caravans at the border. By and large women concentrate on the suffering of the so called migrants, while men are more interested in protecting the families already here.

Dems. Saying that presenting an ID to vote is discriminating against minorities is a racist sentiment.

I am speaking specifically of the indoctrinated. No need to emphasize women , your own predjudicial experience as to what drives a female
Is inaccurate for a gender. Plenty of women have been exposed to the difficulties of life. What is between their legs or not , doesn’t foretell a persons character . Same with skin color.

I have to show picture ID to use my debit card for a $25 purchase. So why cant we require picture ID for something important like voting?

Exactly, and I would add that she is using emotion, not reason in her arguments. Emotion is what drives women and young people who have not been exposed to the difficulties of life.
