Well, the Aristocrats oppressed the French people. So they were overthrown. Did that get the French people freedom?--Ha-ha. They got the Reign of Terror. The whites were oppressing the black people in South Africa with apartheid. (There was also, I believe, a practice of "banning", without trial, which could also apply to whites). Now that is done away with. But do they now have freedom and justice in South Africa? Another ha-ha.
It seems that whenever tyranny is overthrown, it doesn't just result in freedom and justice. Perhaps because it isn't being done with a correct philosophy. The right philosophy would help enormously. But don't hold your breath.

Referring to the two groups as 'white' and 'black' is descriptive, not racist. The South African white population is in fact being looted and murdered. The economy has in fact been kept running mostly by those in the educated, civilized white population, without whom South Africa would have returned to another crude backwater of primitive tribalism. You don't have to go there to know that. It doesn't mean that Clarence Thomas and Walter Williams are savages. It doesn't mean that there aren't at least a few blacks in the South African middle class who support private property rights, though most of them are socialists, including the corrupt, racist politicians.

The reaction from US "liberals" has been to smear those who are alarmed by the growing racist attacks on South African white farmers as being "racist" because the perpetrators are black. "Liberals" think that if you judge and denounce a person for what he is, not his race, and he happens to be black, then you are "racist" by implication and what they call "unconscious racism". I have been to SA a several times. I have spent time in the bush and Capetown. I recommend it for anyone, at least I did. I have friends there who stayed after apartheid ended, hoping for a renewed vigor and growth. I have friends who left. All are so very sad at what is happening. I have lived/ worked in many African countries, but SA was always my favorite. The problem in Africa is not Africans, but politicians. The corruption is so rampant that I can't see how it can be stopped. I am truly saddened for the future of SA.

Understand, the situation WAS racist, this thread is just stating the fact. I have not seen one here that say they deserve it because they are black, it just happens to be they are black, and the people behind all this use it against them. Look at every place where socialists take over, and there is always an enemy (whites (for black countries), (blacks for white countries) christians for arab countries, blacks, hispanics and latino for the U.S effort). Racisom is a tool, an emotional only button to excite and anger with. In Venezuela they used the capitalist americans in their takeover. You just need an enemy you can tag with an emotionally charged label. Loot in the U.S. almost every other word out of as liberals mouth is a label of some kind. They are tools, not proof of any social prejudice. It is social engineering on a massive scale.

This just illustrates the delusional state of mind leading to disaster. If you take all of the producers' wealth and property, they are no longer a source of revenue for the state. It wasn't the whites leaving Zimbabwe that caused the collapse of the economy, but the complete incompetence of the blacks who took over their property.

What's interesting is that now that Mugabe is gone, the new Zimbabwean leaders are asking the white farmers to come back. They figured out what didn't work, but it may be too late, as other African countries like Liberia made generous offers to the white farmers, and are enjoying the positive results.

Socialists are parasites and need a host to survive, their desire to control the host is the desire to control their own lives through controlling the lives of others. It seems most of the history of humans is this relationship. The parasites do not want to become a host, they realize the host is stronger than they and it is an enviable existence compared to their own but they are frightened of making the transition, not because it would mean they would become a host but because they are afraid of the effort required.
