He certainly was not a perfect man. He was some-
what racist, at least for a while. But he did hold the nation together. One thing I know: there was slavery before the Civil War, and after the Civil War it was abolished. If the war had gone the other way, the continuation of slavery would have been the end result.

I had expected it to be Leftist B.S. But about the time it mentioned Andrew Jackson, I caught on. I had known most of it before. But it seems that too many people do not know it.
I was about 12 years old when the Civil Rights Bill of 1964 was passed. I knew that George Wallace was a Democrat, and was rather confused by the Democrats' claiming to be the champions of the black people.--(Although, as an individualist for property rights, I was against that part of the Bill which mandated that private property owners could not make their own decisions about what happened on their own property).

I enjoyed the movie as I remember even though the timing of its release was obviously political.

There was ample evidence to indicate that trusting Joseph Kennedy would be less than optimal for survival. Being suspicious that his son would be able to act ethically without his father's bias was also advisable. Having LBJ as a running mate was also sub-optimal for liberty.

Hey, I really liked PT109 and my family on both sides back to the 1600's were from the South! Both sides served the Confederacy. Great Pa was a Doctor and the other Great GF was with Spaigts Volunteers from Texas!

Well, I think our beloved Abraham Lincoln said a mouthful of racism but later apologized.

The South was solidly Democrate until John Kennedy ran. They hated the Kennedys. When the movie PT109 came out before the election. One theater marquee in Macon advertised: "PT109, see the Japs almost get Kennedy!"

Lots of history omitted from school curriculum. President Buchanan was approached by southern governors who told him that slave owners in their states were willing to emancipate their slaves on two conditions: first, that they be compensated for property losses, which would allow them to hire back the slaves as paid labor; and second that the government provide for indigent slaves. Buchanan balked at the idea of the cost of such an agreement, and told the governors that their idea had no hope of passage in Congress. Opportunity lost, and a much greater cost in fortune and lives to follow.

Amazing that they forgot to mention that the Democrats ran the KKK in the South.

Straight out of Rules for Radicals. Blame the opposition for that which you are guilty of.

    "Post modernist"...and other terms.

"Progressive"...do you think the sheeple know the difference? If they know what those terms entail?

They don't. The strength of the dem party lies in the sheeple following it's directives, which are easy enough: hate Trump, open borders, free stuff for everyone, racist.

Can you find anything else in their agenda?

Thanks for pointing out what I missed in not watching past the initial falsehoods. It's too bad that he didn't research the truth about the GOP before he made the video.
The rest of his facts on the GOP are as much rubbish as the beginning was. The history as recorded by the victors of Lincoln's Dictatorial Looting Tax War is as true as the current MSM story about Trump and the Russians.
Neither party has the high ground. Both were racists and the GOP were looters from the first day of existence. They CAUSED the war and it wasn't to free anyone; it was to enslave everyone except the looting industry of the north. It has been veiled as a sacred crusade to shift blame for the murder of 400,000 Americans. Lincoln played the part of Nancy Pelosi, refusing even to talk to representatives from the southern states while pushing the south towards war that Lincoln desired like some Dems today desire an economic collapse to hurt Trump with no regard for the effects on the American people,
I get pissed every time I see one of these holier than thou GOP apologists repeating the propaganda that the victors of the war wrote to hide their guilt. For the rest of the story I recommend DiLorenzo's The Real Lincoln.

Both major parties have been looting the people since Thomas Jefferson retired from politics.

...where every eight day of the week is "Opposite Day" unless it isn't. And every other day is "Anti-Objective Reality Day" unless they are celebrating "A Mind is a Thing to Waste Day."

For those that don't check up on facts and take everything told to the bank..it just might twist their heads enough to the point that they no longer believe anything you say...Oh wait...they must have listened to that video already...they call themselves...post modernist!

The GOP wasn't a party until 1854 at all. Perhaps the presenter is referring to an ancestor to the GOP, e.g., the Whigs.
Most politicians and people were what modern people would call racist in the 18th century and early 19th century This issue is as irrelevant as the history of the Democrats in the same era.

Might be interesting to play the audio and pump up the volume of that video at a BLM demonstration.just to see how many minds get blown.

But it might actual get individuals to eagerly watch that normally would not, and be suddenly shocked as their made-up narrative is crushed.
