Hey, Herb 7734...I liked your post. Don't you just love family secrets? What we didn't learn about our families until after a lot of people were dead? Amazing. "We don't talk about your Grandmother, dear". No questions. You just didn't ask certain questions. No, no, not allowed.

You are right. The leaders just carry the message of the LED. I know I was fed up with political correctness and the whining of the left and the taking of my money to fund their policies.

In the quiet of the voting booth, its still safe to say what you really think. The leftists have fought since 1/2017 to nullify what we voted for and expect to happen.

I love Trumps simple banners at his rallies "Promises Made,.....Promised Kept". Says it all.

"When the people lead, the leaders will follow." That is the message of Trump's populism.

That would be nice if he slashed the budget, but if we saw the establishment buck him so far, it would be nothing like what they would do when their money is cut back.

Except that socialism is the talk of the day with the young people, and will eventually blossom out fully here in the USA (at least it seems that way). All we can do is delay it.

And here I was thinking it was the collectivist teachings that the Jewish people are bankers and all bankers are bad because capitalism so bad; so when capitalism fails it’s because the banks which is because of the Jews.
That kind of logic can get a race exterminated.

Jew hatred. No one seems to know from where it sprang. The general opinion seems to be that it occurred around the time of Constantine as he was creating Christianity..A Messiah was the idea of the Jews rewarding the faithful and ending the trials and tribulations of the faithful on earth.Religion-wise, the Jews were like dieters who abstained from unhealthy foods in order to reap a healthier life. they kept the reward a mystery, in that everyone knew that to be with God was in itself a glorious reward..When first promulgated Christianity's rules and regulations were almost identical to Judaism with the addition of a son of God which gave the new religion a greater identification with its followers. The story of Jesus allows for a closer, more sympathetic identification with the Deity and a clear pathway to a glory for eternity. The requirements to previous religions were more vague in one sense in that there were less details to explain on a grand scale. You might say that Christianity could be compared to Liberalism versus conservatism that is, more goodies promised for less effort . Over the centuries Christianity added more and more frosting to the cake by creating saints, angels, demons, devils, many of whom interacted with God on a regular basis. With Jews it mattered less what you believed so long as you obeyed. You said the prayers, followed the tenets, .did what you were told as to how to eat, dress, and act. Again much like Judaism,Islam became basically the same, only stricter with harsher punishments. All three Judaism, Christianity, Islam were introduced to humanity by dead prophets, and led by invisible gods.Since no religion is willing to take the blame for the failings and foibles of mankind, a scapegoat needed to be found,, who other than the originator of the invisible God? And there the misnomer of anti semitism sprang up.

My guess is that, absent losing the House, Trump will call on Congress to slash government spending in a significant way, 2018-2020, but definitely in his 2nd term. That will be the acid test.

i agree that it Is somewhat a good thing that the Democratic Party has accelerated their plan to become much more radically and irrationally extreme. These kind of extremists rarely become a majority. And for good reasons.

It is definitely cool that the left has adopted socialism so much (particularly in view of Venezuela and its disasters !!). I dont think the majority of the american people are quite ready for out and out socialism. The young people who got indoctrinated in college seem to be almost 100% socialist, so that means the country is headed that way in the future. Trump is the last stand for people who want the USA to stick to its constitution. What scares me is that Sanders is totally socialist, and nearly toppled Hillary in 2016. If she didnt do dirty political tricks, he would have been the nominee of the democratic party. In 2020 I think the dems will nominate a true socialist and have him run against Trump. That will be quite a battle. Trump is such a good campaigner that he might actually win again in 2020.

I love how Trump sticks to the message "Promises Made....Promises Kept". He puts it behind the podium for everyone to see. Its about as positive a message as he could send. Then he puts the american flag between those two messages. Genius.

Ds do seem to be on a devolving trend. Somewhat like:
    Protect the little guy
    Grab power to dominate
    Protect the group
    Deny rational thinking
    Protect the cult
    Nihilism

There are 2 major factions in the Republican Party. 1) Those who hold to conservative principles: originalist reading of and adherence to the Constitution and founding documents, and 2) Those who say principles mean little if you can't get elected to preserve them.
Group 2 prevailed after Goldwater was trounced in 1964. In the political tug-of-war with the Left, this has caused the slow, inexorable dragging of the Right toward the Left, and Group 1 has never received traction enough to be considered.
The surprise in all this is that many on the left, now realizing just how far the Left would take us, are Walking Away.

Is this similar movement to the #WalkAway movement or same movement? There are a large number of #WalkAway dems going to Republicans...

Everyone with any sanity should walk away from the idiots who wear a (D) next to their name. The whole party now consists of lemmings plummeting to their doom in the pounding surf below. They're not concerned with the fact that they are falling, they just want someone else to join them in their insanity so they don't feel so bad before they hit the bottom.

There are three groups that I am familiar with:

#WalkAway - created by a gay man who cried after Hillary lost. Brandon Straka got fed up with identity politics and decided to start a movement. There was a rally in DC this past weekend. I have met #WalkAway people on the campaign trail - a real phenomena.

#BLEXIT - "Black Exit" launched by Candace Owens and Kanye West. This one will take off too. Candace Owens is part of TPUSA - and the group's mentor is an Ayn Rand fan (I have talked with him several times at CPAC).

#LefttheLeft - small movement in Hawaii, interesting, seems to be relatively limited. Seems limited to Facebook.

The main focuses seem to be:
    1) denouncing identity politics (e.g. "if your black, or gay, or whatever - you must think this way"),
    2) denouncing the hatred and violence of The Left
    3) NOT being anti-American / i.e. believe in American Exceptionalism.

The problem is that currently the only other viable party is the republican party, which is not a lot better than the democrats when it comes to intellectual consistency.

Remember, the repubs wanted not to repeal Obamacare, but repeal-and-replace it with another government program.

The Clintons are still trying to sell our governmental power to others in exchange for money and power that goes to them. Sick. If both of them met their end, I would not cry a tear.

I have heard that about half of the democrats are NOT wanting the socialism of the hard left. Maybe the democrat party will fall apart.

Breaking away from any cult can be hard, even afterwards:
“Demand for purity, which is when the cult’s doctrine is hawked as the only one that is absolutely right. Members who question the ideology will typically be singled out and punished, eventually leading to silencing of dissidents.”

It was emotional to hear her story. I then listened to a few more from the sidebar. Thanks for sharing.
The young girl was not willing to sacrifice her father or her grandfather to the lying left .

    BLEXIT

Look for it on your preferred social media platform o go here:

    https://blexit.com/

Not exactly the same as your first post but it is another major force in the same movement. It's a blitzkrieg right before our midterm elections.
