“Crisis” of Seriously Ill Migrants Slams Border Patrol — TB, Pneumonia, Influenza, Parasites

I would believe this is true over anything the Lamestream media says, and this alone is enough justification to stop the flow of people into the country. Look at LA and SF, and they are scary places with TB and typhoid running amok. The deep state wants the US in crisis, and all of this just adds into the mix, and also imposes the medical care on the taxpayers of the US. Kalifornia wants to use Medicaid to give illegals all, free health care, when making their own citizens fund it, and pay for their own. Doesn't this sound straight from Atlas Shrugged?

I dont care at all about the so called migrants. They are on their own, just like all of us are. If they get sick or die trying to horn their way into the USA, so be it. I am done with this "helping the poor and disadvantaged" thing. The more we get involved in that, the more people join the "poor and disadvantaged" ranks, making the problem worse by the day.

You have no obligation to help anyone, but I am a strong believer in helping people. I am optimistic that human conditions and people respecting one another's rights will continue to improve.

I don’t think we can have an entitled welfare state AND be legitimately benevolent without being taken advantage of. I would help someone to get back on their feet, but it’s VERY hard to separate the wheat from the chaff

          "welfare state"
As you say, it's hard even for a wise business person really to help someone, not just enable, so it's almost impossible for the government to do it.

I am an atheist humanist who attends UU services, but people I meet from a Judeo-Christian-Islamic background seem to be really good at helping people and not enabling. Even if they don't have much wealth, they don't see themselves as poor or victims. They see themselves as potential helpers. I know some of them are like the self-righteous people who Cheryl had the misfortune of meeting; we can't just people by group identity. I just see them often operating honestly and not seeking a handout. There's a stupid stereotype about Jews being experts of money. I find it often is true, and that's a really good thing b/c money is the manifestation of people dealing with each other honestly in mutually beneficial trade.

No obligation? The State takes 30% or more of your income (closer to 50% in Kalifornia) and decides to give it away to whatever group they want? The he is under "no obligation" to let a looter loot him for their agenda? Hank, time to come back and redo that speech....

A legal obligation, not a moral one.

Its not an obligation at all. Its legalized theft, plain and simple

Agreed, the idea of a "legal obligation" is the same one Reardon fought. It was a lrgal obligation under their Fair Trade act for him to give the state his Reardon steel, which he refused. Legal obligations are only valid when you voluntarily enter into it. That is the whole point behind Objectivism, is that people do NOT belong to the state, and the State cannot impose itself upon us.

I really object to the use of the word
"contributions" when it comes to unemployment taxes. They are not contributions at all, its theft. I always cross out the word and overwrite it with THEFT when I send in the forms.

BS, I did not agree to impose such a burden on myself, the mob and the state monsters did. Your statement is definitely not an objectivist one.

You did not do it. The US gov't and gov't of CA do it. I'm saying you're under no moral obligation to provide alms. I am not saying there's no gov't obligation.

"A legal obligation, not a moral one. ". That is the crux of mob rule, pass a law, even an unfair or unjust one, and you MUST comply. Where do you think the writers of Star Trek got the Borg from? It is an illegal act to impose theft of money through legal framework.

Its really a playbook for the future, She was smart and wanted to show how a collectivist society would go, and she was right.

We can look to venezuela right now to see what happens in real time. Amazing that the leftists refuse to accept this.

I find it interesting to hear the leftists saying medicare (they mean medicaid actually) for everyone will actually reduce medical costs. They ignore that our medical cinsurance costs rose substantially (like a factor of 2 and 3) with the advent of obamacare (and that wasnt even for everyone).

It was all part of their plan, and proof they lied out their teeth (and there is so much more evidence including the video of the prime architect of it, saying that they knew they lied and planned it that way, because people would not agree to have a system where a few paid for the many.

makes me quite angry actually. Its time for the USA to split up at least into individual states with nothing more than a loose association for defense with a "federal government".

Of course the media and the left glances over this threat just as they glance over all the issues related to immigration.

Recent increase of polio cases is also a result of migration. Polio was completely eradicated in the US but it is here again.
