Ken Robinson: How schools kill creativity

I thought this was a really good talk. Basically Ken, the speaker, talks about how our current education system is designed to produce a particular type of individual - one who will be a good employee for an industrial corporation - and how that hampers the natural creativity of a lot of people.

It's an old talk, I know, but it's a good one. ;)

    Another guy who was a teacher and very outspoken about the faults of public education was John Taylor Gotto. I'll try and find something of his and put in education if its not already there.

    Twenty minute video. He’s very funny and he makes a good point. But he said that our system is designed to produce a certain type of professional --a university professor.
