And we are being invaded. I hate to be so cynical but I wonder about the $450,000,000 bond issue just passed in my school district. I hesitate to raise the question, but I wonder how many undocumented children we have in our schools? I will be interested in the 2020 census figures.

My husband, was told he didn't have to qualify with his "off duty gun", just his service weapon. He looked at the officials like they had lost their minds! If he carried it, he made sure of his aim from time to time.

If they try these tactics at my home, they will be met at my front door by my .30-30 Winchester, and they will wish they had not come to my house.

As a former military officer, I can tell you we were repeatedly advised on what made an order unconstitutional, reminding us that following orders is not an excuse. When National Guard troops in New Orleans after Katrina were told they had to confiscate everyone's arms, ostensibly to prevent gunfights over looting, the Guard members correctly stated that was a violation of the 2nd amendment, and refused to follow the order. It doesn't happen as much as it should, but there are enough who don't want to be the subject of a Nuremberg style trial for human rights abuses that it does establish a "red line" the military is reluctant to cross.

"If the president made such a declaration without proper justification, the military would be obligated to refuse the order. Remember, the military swear to support the Constitution, not the president "

Who decides if the president's order is justified or not? To the left everything he does is unjustified.

Assuming the government works as intended, a declaration of martial law has to be justified by a state being in serious violation of federal law, and either uncontrolled or or under the control of the state's governor. If the president made such a declaration without proper justification, the military would be obligated to refuse the order. Remember, the military swear to support the Constitution, not the president or any other element of government, and under the UCMJ are obligated to disobey any order they feel is unconstitutional.

    Thank you.
Everyone has a right to protect themselves from violent criminals.
That includes organized gangs such as the Mafia, Hell's Angels, the Crips, the Bloods, MS-13 and Antifa.
Yes, I'm including Antifa. Grade B terrorists are criminals too.

Thanks. Me dino had to annually NRA qualify with a rifle, shotgun and a pistol between 1982 and 2003 for being employed by the Alabama Department of Corrections.
I had to NRA qualify with a pistol for a couple of semiretired jobs up until 2013 when I became fully retired.
Which means I need to go back to my favorite indoor range because I haven't fired a shot for a couple of years.

The president can declare martial law. Yes, provided the president is not one of them.

Remember when Obama said he "can understand the Occupy Wall Street" mob? Or that he always sided with any mob fomenting violence.

"Nobody on the left would suffer a second."
Don't be too sure of that. A large scale tragedy wouldn't check party, and would slaughter indifferently. I would guess that many in the 9/11 massacre were very liberal in their thinking, but the grim reaper didn't care.

Should the left decide that it's time for there to be "blood in the streets," I think they would find there are many who are tired of their insanity, and will choose to bring a halt to it. The rebellion will not be a communist style uprising, but the resolution of law enforcement that decide to disobey their left wing mayors and governors, and come down hard on those who choose violence. If things get out of hand, the president can always declare martial law in states that appear to be falling apart (Oregon comes to mind).

The reason is, when the Cubans invaded Florida, some of them entered Granny's home and hit her over the head. We brought her home to Texas.

I have no trespassing signs on my gates! All 4 of them. I also have a sign that says, 'My Dobermans can make it to the fence in 30 seconds. What's your best time?' Even the mailman doesn't enter my gates. Uses the mailbox. My friends call first before coming over.

Well, I am not gonna tell what's in my home but I will admit I have eight exit doors and my entire home is covered by an excellent alarm system. All 8,000 feet of it! And if the police don't respond immediately, they will wish they had! I'll scream until their hair falls out!
