This is one of those cases where I would love to be the judge they brought this suit to. I would literally ask them one question: you do realize that you have no standing to bring this lawsuit, correct? Then as they hemmed and hawed, I would tear up the suit in front of them and order ICE to deport anyone who showed up at the hearing.

Excellent observation! If you want to become an American, why aren't you waving an American flag?

It wouldn't surprise me at all.

The other thing that pisses me off is the leftest and MSM consider him a regular Jew...he is not, he is an enemy to his own kind!

The media has rendered their nihilistic broadcasts irrelevant. Trump has skillfully exposed who is
Un-American it is the FAKE News.

"Mr. Soros has admitted to having “carried some rather potent messianic fantasies with me from childhood, which I felt I had to control, otherwise they might get me in trouble.” Having made his mark, he now seems to give them free rein. He told one interviewer that he had “godlike, messianic ideas,” and another that he sometimes thought of himself as “superhuman.” To still a third he explained that his “goal is to become the conscience of the world.”"

Sounds like a Narcissistic schizophrenic to me...

The argument is that some are seeking asylum as provided by law. This is done case by case. If all 10K plus are seeking asylum then it will be forever and a day before all are heard. Build the wall and arm the thunder cannons except for the California border. Bus the 10K to San Francisco and all sanctuary cities and let them deal with the asylum seekers. .

At least the Venezuelans are fleeing to their neighbor, Colombia, instead of to the U.S., showing an honest claim to asylum.

I agree with you (and others here) that they have no standing to bring this suit. However, this represents a globalist view of "citizens of the world."Expect to have the argument thrown at us by our own media that refusing such a claim is "unAmerican," as in since we believe the world would be better off if it was more like the U.S., how dare we deny these poor people the rights we so strongly believe in.

Retired corrections officer me dino knows inmates can file lawsuits by mailing them to federal courts.
Me dino was sued three times by three different inmates and three times some judge dissed the writs (to use inmate vernacular)..
Unlike those inmates, hiking along illegals don't have a comfy table in a law library (with court addresses to look up) to pencil lawsuits on.
Wouldn't surprise me dino if the paperwork was drawn up by lawyers working with or for the Jackass Party if not John Soros himself.

As I read it, there is a convention in international law (do not ask me what that is)
whereby a person claiming to be a refugee (from country A) and having been given
refuge in country B, cannot claim on country C to be still a refugee.
    Examples:
Nicaragua, etc. - Mexico - USA
    Iran - Indonesia - Australia

So, major unrest in Canada with a random murdering dictatorship, would place the USA in a position of (maybe) having to accept a few million Canadian refugees, or v.v.
Interesting that the Yazidis in Iraq being enslaved and murdered by Isis/Isil did not get a hearing (not being Muslim or Christian ....).
Now there is large scale economic collapse in Venezuala with a million or more fleeing across borders - are they strictly refugees?

Not helping their own cause. The publicity from this stunt will probably lead to more votes for Republicans in next week's election.

This was the "Silliest" thing I heard today, bar none.
Not only are they "Not" US Citizens, Not under our jurisdiction but Not Even Close to our country yet!
    But their mentality precedes them.

There are many judges on the circuit courts that would grant the migrants this "right".

Go for it. Then it'll go to the Supreme Court and we know how it'll end.

"“to deter Central Americans from exercising their lawful right to seek asylum in the United States, and the fact that innocent children are involved matters none to President Trump.”

    Lawful right? Says who?

The usual crap of "innocent children" are of course being used.

First off, there is no war in any of these countries. Poverty is not a reason for "asylum". The Mexican gov offered them assistance that they flatly refused.

This demented move is originating from the left. According to them migrants have more right than lawful citizens.

In Europe, some on the left went so far as to claim that migrants are preferable to citizens. Of course, migrants would vote for them while the "unruly" citizens are difficult to handle. They are asking all kinds of embarrassing questions.

"The next question is how is it that foreigners not even on US soil have US Constitutional rights to file suit over?"

Anyone can file a lawsuit. But the legal principle of "standing" is evaluated by the judge at the initial hearing. The case then gets thrown out if the applicant can not prove legal standing. That's precisely what should happen in this case.

Yes, of course, wishful thinking. The defense bar loves the plaintiffs bar for giving them more clients to defend. And as you know, lawyers never sue lawyers. The incest is obvious, and of course contemptible.
