Wikipedia:

"The lyrics tell the story of a man who time travels into the future, and sees the apocalypse. In the process of returning to the present, he is turned into steel by a magnetic storm. He is rendered mute, unable verbally to warn people of his vision of impending destruction. His attempts to communicate are ignored and mocked. This causes Iron Man to become furious, and drives his revenge on mankind, causing the apocalypse seen in his vision, alluding to Joseph Stalin (whose name literally means 'Man of Steel')."

Time to Get Schooled:

The John Galt Revolution (JGR) or "Operation Jaguar," requires it's own Iron Men (and Women) who have seen the anarcho-statist apocalypse that lies just beyond the DIM Horizon.

For the necessary "vision," after reading both DIM and the Galt Speech afresh, I invite you to undergo the "Galt-Gestalt" of the John Galt Brigade's Basic Training (which you may, if you're female think of as his wife Dagny's Brigade) self-guided Training.

To undergo the paragraph-by-paragraph ordeal, you will need but one text-book:

"Essays on Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged,"
22 Notecards, and
both audio and print forms of the novel.

That is really it, and you're ready to begin your EMT Training through the MRI: "Ego Man Training/Ego Woman Training (EWT)" through the recursive Memorization, Recitation and Induction of Galt's Declaration of Independen and Justice for Man's mind, life and liberty on earth.

Your subconscious stockpile of the full arsenal of intellectual ammunition, an integrated meta-ethical monologue threading together every pro-life principle, you will be the EgoMan or Woman Brigadier empowered to be wage Atlas' Revolution, to stand proudly at the pinnacle of Galt's peak and, in the Eye of the Storm, "Reap the Wild Wind" and turn it to your own advantage.

There are 296 Galt Sub-Stations, the Oath being GSS-296 at the base of the pinnacle, which is your own living Application of the Oath and and all the As below, which is schematically like this:

[Your Life]: 297+ A
[GSS-296}: **__Oath
[GSS-295]: ****_AAA
[GSS-294]: _**_AAAAA
[GSS-293:
_AAAAAAA
[GSS-292]: _AAAAAAAAA
.............{GSS-291 to ...... 001}
See below to get a "preview" of the final ascent:

    [GSS-292]:

"The last of my words will be addressed to those heroes who might still be hidden in the world, those who are held prisoner, not by their evasions, but by their virtues and their desperate courage.

My brothers in spirit, check on your virtues and on the nature of the enemies you're serving.

Your destroyers hold you by means of your endurance, your generosity, your innocence, your love -- the endurance that carries their burdens -- the generosity that responds to their cries of despair -- the innocence that is unable to conceive of their evil and gives them the benefit of every doubt, refusing to condemn them without understanding and incapable of understanding such motives as theirs -- the love, your love of life, which makes you believe that they are men and that they love it, too.

But the world of today is the world they wanted; life is the object of their hatred.

Leave them to the death they worship.

In the name of your magnificent devotion to this earth, leave them, don't exhaust the greatness of your soul on achieving the triumph of the evil of theirs.

Do you hear me . . . my love?"

-Atlas Shrugged, pp. 1065-1066 (plume), spaces added.

As an encouraging footnote, the average paragraph length is less than half the length of this one, the very longest [GSS-242] being unique at twice the length, and the shortest one's being but a few words or lines are also far more common.

    Benevolently,

    EgoPriest, Alive & Kicking
@ [GSS-106: "Selfishness --say both-- is man's evil...."]
