I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch...I'm a dentist in suburban Detroit Michigan. I've been an objectivist since 1970, when I first started reading Ayn Rand.

Welcome Dr. Eaton. Rucka Rucka Ali on Youtube is from suburban Detroit as well. Are you familiar with his parody videos (e.g., History of Philosophy RAP)?

Another issue I'm happy to bring up with a dentist is what you think, as an Objectivist (capitalized), of someone like me who lives in San Diego and goes to a dentist in Tijuana. Does it matter if the business is owned by an American?

I haven't given this issue much though, so whatever information you can direct me to in support of your position is appreciated.

  I have no problem with you seeing a dentist in the big T. Just make sure he is doing the best service possible. Dentistry is NOT a commodity.
