I say unload alll the barrels right after the midterms. Get rid of Sessions, Rosenstein, and Mueller. Its a waste of money paying them.

I think everyone with an inquisitive mind figured out as much as it is revealed in the article.

The problem still remaining is that Mueller is still active, spending our money. The logical thing would be for Trump to compel Rosenstein to end the "investigation" and fade into obscurity. He can flare up any time.

If this were the private sector, I'd agree with you. But can you imaging the uproar from the leftists if he were to do so?

        The leftists don't count.

They got a good drubbing in the Kavanaugh case, driving them to insanity to the level of openly calling for violence.

We know what they are capable of. Anything the president or the newly awakened GOP do are red meat to them. The fear of "what happens if we do this/that" has to be relegated to the past. It was the mantra of Hussein, who always "justified" inaction with imagined consequences.

You just do it and deal with the left.

If you do it, you deal with the consequences. The press (another branch of the left) still has some influence on the middle-of-the-road types. I believe that from a political perspective, it would be a YUGE mistake to do as you suggest.

It depends on how it'd be done.

Mueller should wrap up the hunt by saying he has exhausted all avenues and found no case against the president. Case closed.

Rosenstein definitely has the leverage there.

What will the left be able to do if that happens?

With regards to Rosenstein, I'm leaning towards believing he's a white hat. Here's an article that may explain some of that:

I don't believe he is a beneficial factor.

His obfuscation continuing as he refuses to testify to Congress. So the October surprise will not happen after all.

I would not be surprised at all, that should the left regain control of Congress, Rosenstein would come out swinging and lead the impeachment drive against Trump.

I think the president is making a mistake by delaying the declassification, if he does it at all.

To my mind, Rosenstein has a VERY good excuse to slow walk information to Congress since it is a POLITICAL body, NOT a law enforcement entity. They (ESPECIALLY the Democrats) leak like a sieve. There's ample reason to slow walk information to them while SERIOUS legal cases are being built. If information is released too soon, legal cases can be destroyed.

I mean, sheesh, WE DO want DECADES of lawbreakers to FINALLY PAY for their CRIMES, right?
