lets see, they were not able to stop him with the BS show in the hearings, and the Diane Fienstein letter bomb fizzeled, so now, trot out the human body (who just happens to be a "professor" and we all know how unbiased and truthful THEY are) to claim something that happened (probably not) 35 years ago, was so evil and offensive that she held it as a closely guarded secret not worth ever mentioning at any other selection process or complaint to a court or legal society that supervises attorneys, BUT IS NOW? Really? Anita Hill 101....again.... next up: he put a pubic hair on my coke can in social studies.......

"Martha G. Kavanaugh, the mother of Brett Kavanaugh was a Maryland district judge in 1996. In an amazing coincidence, Martha Kavanaugh was the judge in a foreclosure case in which Christine Blasey-Ford’s parents were the defendants. Now it all becomes clear. Blasey-Ford is going after Brett Kavanaugh, not because of what he did in high school. Instead, Christine Blasey-Ford is going after Brett Kavanaugh out of spite and revenge for a case rulled on by Brett Kavanaugh mother. Martha Kavanaugh, Brett’s mother was Montgomery County Circuit Court judge from 1993 until she retired in 2001. During a 1996 foreclosure case, Martha Kavanaugh ruled against the parents of Christine Blasey-Ford in a foreclosure case."

Very good, she is disqualified now, both for never mentioning this in previous reviews for Kavanaugh, but also the way this came out and the real issue. Wnat to bet a deep state agent said "you want to get him back?"

Thank you exeller and nicvkursis for exposing Blassey-Ford's MOTIVE.
As for that other motive of advancing the socialist cause, the Jackass Party repeatedly making last minute sex offense accusations against conservation candidates and nominated appointees has become irritatingly tiresome.

"Now Ford has told The Washington Post she had decided to waive her anonymity because she felt her "civic responsibility" was "outweighing my anguish and terror about retaliation" after the basic outlines of the story emerged in media last week."

Can it be more hilarious? She did not feel her "civic responsibility" urging her for 35 years!

It's like they're saying among themselves, "Well, our picky accusative questions and those screeching George Soros paid-for demonstrations aren't stopping that GOP nominee, so let's again last minute fall back on our good ole' some sort of sexual harassment ploy. What shall it be? Stalking? Groping? A Slick Willie kinda rape? Or do we get Gloria Allred to trot out another hopefully overwhelming multi-talented pony show?"

No it is actually probably akin to military planning. The people pulling the strings have a layered defense, and the Booker thing blew up, Feinstein blew up, now this route. As Q says "They are STUPID". It is all repeated, over and over, incident after incident. This is almost proof of the cabal, in that it tried the same thing with Thomas. Remember Stormy? Almost every one of these is whatever tool they have created, lately the MeToo thing. Do you really think that dozens of women were raped and molested by whats his puss, and stayed quite, then suddenly got nerve? No, Harvey had to go so as to create the tool they needed to go for Trump. This whole thing is so huge, and deep, you would keel over in shock if it is ever revealed fully.

Makes sense. Obviously the 'sexual assault" wasnt serious enough or damaging enough at all that it could go hidden for 36 years.

Probably if something did happen, the woman was drunk also and participated willingly. No wonder she "cant remember where or when or how she got there"

I'm through. If the Repubs don't vigorously defend Judge K and let him get borked I'm through and the country can go to hell. It's not worth saving. But, if he becomes the next new justice on the SCOTUS and the Dems are shown up to be the scum they are for pulling such a stunt....perhaps there still is hope.

"...I'm through and the country can go to hell. It's not worth saving." I get the same melancholy thoughts, Herb7734. Never had such thoughts up until recently. Defend and respect the nation and its symbols? If a chance of maintaining a free America? YES! If somehow America morphs into a socialist/communist sh-t hole? NO! Let it die.

I have put up with those who supposedly represent me act like little children trying to influence adults. If they grow a spine, Ala Trump there might still be a chance that we can carry on.
Prof. Ford doesn't care about an incident that happened 35 years ago, but, urged on by Feinstein and the like, all she cares about is Delay. And if they get away with it, look for it to continue into the foreseeable future.

          Agreed.

This Ford thing is too vague to get a decent handle on. She can't seem to remember exactly where or when the "incident" occurred so I figure, if anything happened at all, she must have been drinking and possibly drugging at that party and got all paranoid and frightened over nothing and ran out and remembers it all as something terrible. That scenario could have been she went alone to a room in a stupor to chill out and then Brett and one of his buddies came stumbling in drunk and scared the crap out of her. Thinking "OMG I'm going to get raped and killed" she ran out and that's what she remembers. Meanwhile Brett, along with his buddy, at the time hasn't a clue what this girl is screaming about and doesn't bother remembering any of it because it only took a few seconds and he was under age drinking, too. Then again... maybe the "incident" actually happened with someone else and Ford put Kavanaugh's face on it to get even for his mom's ruling against her parents, her support for the failed Evil Hag, and Trump Derangement Syndrome taking effect.

Maybe Kavanaugh should temporarily change his name to Bill Clinton and then the left would just shove Ford under the bus.

Now there's the tought, no one has ever wanted to mention the rape claims against Clinton, and how the same people championing this incident seem to have totally ignored every "victim" then. It makes them appear that much more low, unsavory, and evil. The whole thing is just really, really bad theater. as Q says "They are STUPID".

It should be noted that sexual assault was not the PC item in 1980 that it is in 2018. This was not a Me-Too situration of unequal power. This was drunken teens, with not actual assault. Who supplied the alcohol. Was the girl high or drunk, when she somehow got to the party, when and shere she can't remember, but the exact details of the guy, so wants us to think she remembers. Where is Perry Mason, he would knock this down in a second. She did not mention she had on a bthing suit. She did not mention her parents grudge against Judge Martha, the nominees mother. She did not emntion her brother's link to Fusion GPS. et real, this is a set up by teh DNC and maybe Soros.

Let me try my hand at this- On my last teen year, on my way to Vietnam, we stopped in San Francisco before making the Pacific jump. A friend and I went to a local bar where a brunette, at least 10 years older than me, approached and said "Soldier boy, eh?" Must have been my haircut in a place where no one had shorter hair than shoulder length. She groped me. I was gasping as she pulled me close. I thought I would not get out of there alive and if I did, I would never have children. Fortunately, I did get out alive and happy to be on my way to Vietnam. This memory has haunted me all these years, more so than any of my combat memories from the year that followed. I'm sorry I never came out with this story before, for fear, since that woman is now a senator, with the same sleepy blue eyes staring at Kavanaugh. I wish to remain anonymous but I'm willing to testify if I have to.

Hmm... not too bad, I think. It's right out of the Left's Political Playbook.

Yes I was in the dark corner of that bar and I corroborate that event. What you might not know was I saw and heard Nancy Pelosi and Diane Feinstien discuss assaulting you and saying that it would be just like what they saw Maxine Waters do when she assaulted a gas station attendant in Compton and asked him to fill her up.YUK

I have HAD it with sexual assault charges that women bring. Any man who wants to go soemwhere and will need to be "approved" by the liberal establishment should stay away from women PERIOD to avoid this sort of smear campaign.

The Repubs should just vote Kavanaugh in in spite of what the liberals have brought up- just to show them that this overtly political stuff wont work.

Won't do any good to "stay away from women" the Dems will find someone who will just lie....like this woman is doing.

If you did stay strictly away from women they would call you a potential child molester or something like that. Or they would discover that they don't like homosexuals after all. The Democrats will absolutely throw one of their voting groups under the bus to achieve their aims. They do it to African-Americans all the time.

Some commentators and people to weigh in whether they believe the allegations. I find this absurd. As a scientific person, I resist even guessing before having evidence. We have no way of knowing. I would never dismiss such claims, but I don't think they should have any bearing on the confirmation. It really looks like a political ploy. It may not be. But regardless I see no reason it should affect the confirmation.

Exactly, you cannot investigate a 35 year old allegation of "something happened one night at a house". No dates, names or facts EXCEPT "it was him". Now, we haven't even gotten to why didin't you come forward when he was a sitting federal judge, does it matter, if we are talking about right/wrong, what position he is in? This is why this is all being said to be a political ploy, to delay past the midterms when they think they will control the house and senate again and be able to derail any nominee, but the ONE they want. If they all gave up on their "stack the court" game, and went for "constitutional ruler" instead, none of this is needed. All this does is discredit the SCOTUS into a political arena, which we do not need at all.

        "to delay past the midterm"
I don't think that's the political ploy, if there is one. They would be thrilled, but I don't think that's the primary plan. I think the plan, assuming it's a ploy, is to goad people who want the confirmation to go forward into slandering the alleged victim. That would motivate people who don't like crassness or meanspirtedness to vote in the midterms against Republicans. That could be why I hear some critics of Kavanaugh saying we have to decide whom to believe. They want someone to say she's a lying piece of crap, and then Democrats can wrongly say that's the Republican line.

I hate this stuff. I read about it out of morbid fascination like watching a car wreck.

I think you're completely missing my point. I'm saying if it is politically motivated, I do not believe the confirmation is the primary target.

I resist the urge to give much thought to political games.

Well, you should, because it is not just games, these clowns will seek complete control, why do you think Trump is rolling back so many EOs? They have become the substitute for congress, which may have been intentionally sabotaged to push us this way, now that I look at it. Consider that the use of EO's date back to the 50's or earlier (I have not looked into it, but will), and they have the force of law? When did the President become dictator, and no one noticed? These are not games, they are a war for the soul of the country, that was what Ayn Rand was warning us of, what happens when you lose, and what you have to do to regain your freedom.

" When did the President become dictator,"
Yes. I completely agree the Executive Branch and the president have way too much power, esp the de facto power to declare war.

"why do you think Trump is rolling back so many EOs?"
[Sarcasm]Maybe he shares my views on executive power. He's doing his utmost to role back the precedents set after WWII. The trouble is dark forces are trying to maintain the office's power because they hope to get someone who owes them personal favors. So President Trump acts like an attention-seeking clown whose authoritarian impulses are checked by his ineptitude. It's like Seldon putting into motion a plan to achieve the opposite of everything he says. We just have to keep telling ourselves that: the opposite of everything he says and does is the end goal. And if there's some tax and regulatory reform, we can take that. We're cherry picking. We're looking for evidence that confirms our desires. We surely can find it and keep telling ourselves everything else is a complex plan. [/sarcasm]
Sorry, the real answer is it's all attention seeking from someone with a background in the publicity business.

Ok, CG, you can interpret it whatever way suits your needs, however, you should consider that there has been an intensive effor to push us into a more interdependent worldwide ecionomy, and call it globalism. It is not an economic trade deal, but an interdependent relationship that allows other countries to make rules YOU have to follow. That was also a move towards a world wide government, aka "The New World Order". Where did we hear that? Did you hear Trump today refute "Globalism"?

Lots of new rumors about this accuser have popped up on Gab just this (Tuesday) afternoon; if you really want to see the show in real time you should go there. Here's the list I found today.

    (1) DiFi doubts the accusation is "completely truthful" -- because (2) the same accuser sent her a similar letter of accusation against Neil Gorsuch when he was nominated.
    (3) Ford (the accuser) is angry at DiFi for making her identity public. (4) She has gone into hiding, and (5) does not intend to appear at the Senate hearing. In which case, (6) Sen. Chuck Grassley says the hearing will be cancelled and a vote taken.
    (7) Ford is a CIA agent.

For now I think I believe the first six of these.

I can believe the CIA thing as, if she made such an accusation against Gorsuch, she should be arrested and tried for false report etc... They could then dig into her background.

She is herself a psychotherapist? I'm one, too, and there are legal mandates to report any such credible report. That doesn't mean all those reports can be validated. I see no rational reason for a psychotherapist to delay reporting an ACTUAL incident so many years AFTER the fact. Unless it was a repressed memory, or a fabrication. I must confess, however, that I do not know how often adults suddenly disclose repressed events, or under what circumstances. I do believe it happens, although it does strain credibility. Also, the process of becoming a psychotherapist involves psychotherapy. If her claims are true, why didn't previous therapists report the alleged abuse? Or why did she fail to disclose? After all, hiding and failing to deal with such experiences affects one's ability to help clients with similar issues.

Well, as I said, there are no reports for her full name, only Christine Ford, which makes it tenuous at best. She is a professor of something, but I have yet to have time to go ferret that out. I would have to laugh hard if it is PolSci.....

The first report I saw that gave all three names said she is a professor at Palo Alto University. This triggered my BS detector. I used to live in Palo Alto, CA, and there is no "Palo Alto University" in the area -- the only University in town is Stanford. Does it exist somewhere else?

I don't know, the real problem is go looking for real data, facts, truth and you are met with a boatload of made up stories, usually using the "don't shame the victim (unless they are conservative)" and : we need to investigate till after the elections (oops, I mean they complete it)". The other side is pretty blunt, and getting blunter. But I take blunt over touchy feely made up nonsense:

I hardly even remember the names of some of the "incidents" I had in school, behind the handball courts I had a fight, somethings happened in the back seat of my '49 Merc and then in my '57 Chevy, and somethings happened even at the movie theater. As my memory recalls we both enjoyed all of it, they never forced me to do anything I wasn't will to do. I guess I could change my mind anytime, especially if they ran for office. I can't even remember any of their names and would not even think about making any claims today as it seemed like the routine thing to do in those days. If I'm wrong I guess I just shouldn't run for office. If anyone recognizes me, I promise not claim that it harmed me in any way. What a farce, just another cowardly act by these people that can't accept facts. Today we/they just have this I'm so much better than you mentality. I would hope the individual bringing those claims forward after all these years gets due diligence in investigating her entire private and public life, perhaps even a review of all her legal cases. Perhaps she might even be guilty of something as a child.

She went to a "therapist" - rather than a lawyer or LEO - to report about an incident which - if it is true - would have taken place more than 30 years ago. And that's all the corroboration she has - a vague memory (or rather daydream) about something she wishes happened because it would put her in the spotlight. This will never go to court because she has already changed her story three times as to time, place, and number of people there and the other two people she claimed were there have categorically denied it ever happened.

Here's one more tidbit about this whole thing: the timing. She did this in 2012 when Romney was running against Obama. And guess who was on Romney's list for Supreme Court? Yup! Brett Kavanaugh.
