So, Dutchsinse has an interesting application of radar technology used for water vapoer weather images and shows a possible use of earth conversion of VLF frequency to HF frequency to plasma that causes a glitch on the weather radar tracking water vapor, and then you get a large quake. See his discussion at 3 to 5 minutes in this video. It is an interesting application of one technology to use for another purpose, and seems to make sense. Or it could just be HAARP belching and causing it...but I will go with Dutch. His discussion at 17-19 minutes of a standing wave effect into the crust is also really interesting. May mean something to those in earthquake prone areas.
