The truth of the matter is, the Great Depression cannot be pinned on one particular thing alone.There were a series of unfortunate occurrences that ultimately led to the Great Depression.

    If one looks at the wconoomic dat, the country was on the rebound from the 1929039 downturn. Wjen the items mentioned in the article started to be enacted and taking effect the economy turned down again. Not saying there is a cause and effect going on here, but it is suspicious to say the least.
    There have always been cycles in the economics of the countries and the workd and the more interdependent the countries becoe the more each affects the others.Given the links in the workd economy today, the collapse of one economy or even a lrge drop will ripple thorugh taking weak economies with it and dragging strong ones down multiple levels.
