This is actually awesome, especially since it is 2 years old, but it rings more true today. Hits on all the things that need to change.

Hadn't seen this one, but agree 100%. If you want to go to a private school which teaches other things, including victimhood status, self-esteem classes, etc. that is your prerogative and your money to waste. If you want to go to an American school funded by American taxpayers, however, you will learn to be an American. Bravo!

Darth Schumer, Nutty Nancy, Frankenfienstein, Not-in-Nam Blumenthal, King Barry, Cackles The Evil Hag, Slick Willie and so, so many more lib would be appalled by that video for failing to progressively indoctrinate pliable young minds at their most vulnerable stage in life. .
That's a reason why me dino just loved it.

Our problem is that there ARE public schools at all. I vote to get the government OUT of education 100%, and let private enterprise fix all this stuff.
I went to public high school for 3 years, and learned essentially nothing. I learned more AFTER school tinkering in my parents basement than I ever did in public school.

What I learned in school was not what I was "taught", it was always what I sought out and discovered, and read about and practiced. The Navy had an excellent training system and understands the real method of education. They can take a high school kid and train hm to Level 3 maintenance on a submarine sonar system of about 80 cabinets and 8 or 9 subsystems in a year. Modern schools should restructure to that level.

What do u think was the essence of the way the navy helped you understand how to maintain the submarine sinar?

I went to MIT and when I left there I felt that I could tackle any problem I put my mind to. They took away the fear of failure for me. I don’t remember much of the specifics I was exposed to there, but my time there was totally worth it.

They showed me that I could learn what I needed. How they did that I really can’t say, but it happened while I was there.

Since then (1967) I have started a number of businesses, secured 26 patents, have invented many things in multiple fields, and have kept up with the new advances in technology. It used to be one had to spend hours reading books and journals. Now the internet brings almost anything I need to know right to my computer, iPad, and even my iPhone 24 hours a day. It’s pretty amazing

The Navy system separates it into Skills and Knowledge to support the skills. You write your curriculum by creating the list of skills (Upon completion of this topic the trainee will be able to:), and then you make a table of the knowledge (Upon completion of this topic the trainee will have the knowledge to support:) You teach the knowledge to support the skills, then you teach the skill and application. You then use practical exercises to test and refine the skills. It teaches you how to learn, and is very focused. You even teach basic knowledge and skills to support the advanced knowledge and skills, so we did a basic and intermediate digital training class before moving into the "how to fix" part (We did Level 1,2, and 3 with three being the fix it part and the longest. I got certified as a Master Training Specialist (able to go from stage 1 (creation) curriculum to Stage 5 (final production curriculum) . Very useful over the years.

Exactly. Schools have been state tools since they were invented. The only way to find one with the flavor you want is private, which is why so many kids go to them. I wonder though, if the left likes it that way, as they then get those kids when they go to college so they get both ends.

Fortunately, public schools are so boring and non responsive to what kids want to learn, that they stop listening. The have to attend, but their minds arent there. Thats a good think in that whats taught is pretty much liberal nonsense

    Lol. If only.

I would take it even further and simpler.
"We will teach you tools to think and analyze with. Such as reading, writing, arithmetic and practice at using them. What you do with these tools in your life is up to you." "Right and Wrong, Good and Bad you may learn elsewhere."

The teaching of mrals and ethics is indeed the weak spot in everything, because there is no consensus on what they are, and that is one of the tools the left will use against us, as they indoctrinate the kiddies with their morals, which suck, IMHO.

A very interesting and refreshing clip.
The only question I have in my head is that every person in the school is devoid of culture, race, etc, yet they are specifically identified as Americans in an ever globalising world.

The borders of countries are drawn by politicians who wish to have a differentiation between countries regardless of the humans living on either side of the arbitrarily determined border.
I know I might be dreaming a bit, but yearn for the day when we classify ourselves as global (even universal) citizens in accordance to the edicts of the school and not specifically as Americans.
The border entraps people as much as it keeps them out.
Human rights do not end where a border begins (I forgot who said that). No matter where I live or visit, I am a global citizen and wish to make the world a better place.

Use of the term "deplorable" to describe people who do not speak foreign languages is deplorable.
Pledging allegiance to a banner and a government is utterly un-American, antithetical to individual liberty, and is socialistic propaganda.

I am deplorable, and I dont speak any other languages except a spattering of Spanish.

I have a T-shirt- "Deplorabe Me". That phrase lost Hillary the election, fortunately.

I can not argue those points, but it also speaks to the conservative side propaganda. If you want to get a bunch of people who grew up doing the pledge (which I was one of them, and I do not think it was bad, but it is also as you say, proving the conditioning value), you go back to it, no? We will not find any "clean" response to the deep state take oer in the bases of our our society, but I thought the overall identification of all the tools they put in place the last 20 years or so to condition kids to their side is very well put.
