IS DR FORD DEEPLY TIED TO CIA?

OK, so some may say this is not reliable, but it has surfaced now and then, and this is the first time you see all the names involved. If true, CIA seems to own this family, so that raises even more suspicion of motives and means.

Dr. Ford exhibits the symptoms of histrionic personality disorder, not an occult CIA agent. Yes, I'm a physician. I am comfortable making this observation.

What are her "symptoms of histrionic personality disorder" that a doctor can reliably diagnose from her appearance at the Senate hearing, ruling out all other possibilities, and what conclusions could a doctor draw from that which refute her account of being accosted by a drunk at a party? Can't she have emotional problems (for which she has been seeing a therapist), in part perhaps related to the bad experience she described, without concluding that she made it all up? That something like what she described (without attributing it to Kavanaugh in particular) happened to her is far more likely and plausible than the CIA conspiracy and the rest of this embarrassingly bizarre thread on what is supposed to be an Ayn Rand forum.

Sadly, after all the well-meaning attempts to defend Kavanaugh from the perception of unfair attacks, direct evidence of Kavanaugh's behavior while in school has just been uncovered in this 2001 audio:

'"I uh, didn't take school that seriously. I, uh, got into fights. I, uh, drank 'n did uh, 'n 'n consumed, uh, substances that uh [laugh], weren't always legal. Um, and, uh, you know I think generally was, um, acting um, uh in ways that uh thitwhen I look back on it I understand, uh. I think that what got through me those years, was, um, sur a natural aptitude for schooling, which meant that I didn't haveta pay attention too much ta be able to keep my grades up 'n at least uh, umm, graduate. Uh some of my behavior was self-destructive, you know, uh atuh I might uh, drink a six-pack, uh, in an hour before uh, uh before goin back ta class. Uh things like that."

You can hear the audio and where it came from on Mark Levin's radio show where he acknowledged that he fears this will sink Kavanaugh's nomination. Start at 01:17:50 https://omny.fm/shows/mark-levin-audi...

Oddly, the Democrats on the committee don't care, believing that this is evidence of presidential material.

‘Conspiracy theory’ is a term that strikes fear and anxiety in the hearts of most every public figure, particularly journalists and academics. Since the 1960s the label has become a disciplinary device that has been overwhelmingly effective in defining certain events as off limits to inquiry or debate. Especially in the United States, raising legitimate questions about dubious official narratives destined to inform public opinion (and thereby public policy) is a major thought crime that must be cauterized from the public psyche at all costs… CIA Document 1035-960 played a definitive role in making the ‘conspiracy theory’ term a weapon to be wielded against almost any individual or group calling the government’s increasingly clandestine programs and activities into question. – From CIA Document 1035-960

It also is used to denigrate and discredit, you could say that a quarter dropped will fall to the floor, and they can all declare it to be a "CT", and money would float. Well, our money does float since it is all fiat, but you see the point.

That Q is providing timely info to shed a light on the agenda of the global statist cabal. Why do you think the people who call it a kooky theory or a cult have such an emotional opposition when it is clear they have no idea what they are arguing against and obviously have not read any of his thousands of drops?

Uh, it is easier to pontificate, than it is to debate and discuss, especially when the debate is not one you approve of? Just a guess...but then, as a conspiracy theorist, I just accept anything that is in my favor for my argument and discard anything counter to it, it's so much easier...oh wait, that's the Democrats method...

Zero, I invite you to go examine the conspiracy regarding Global Warming, and then come back in a few years and explain why there is mass starvation and unrest because of the Grand Solar Minimum which is also described by the MSM as a "conspiracy theory". Objectively, you can assemble a line of factual data that goes back 80 years that can be shown to say that this whole push has been a concerted effort to steer us to a single world government. If you want just straight up facts, you run into all kinds of issues, when those facts are hidden and withheld, or have you not heard of Peter Strozk? Or do you believe there was no effort to cover up Hilary's treason, and manipulate the public to "get Trump"?

The climate/carbon change scare movement (and the accusation against the judge) are not products of conspiracy. They are a result of moral posturing whereby the soft-headed show what good, kind, virtuous people they are by (they claim) saving the planet (and supporting victims).
That the planet is not going to roast, more likely cooling, and victims are not victims, does not matter to them. Hoards of the badly dressed and the guilt-ridden wealthy loudly join in self-flagellation and scream for climate action and justice. Ok some are paid by Soros and that ilk. Do not look to Soros for the source of evil, it is in ourselves when we let emotions overcome thinking.

Climate Change, an eruption of mass delusion
the legions of righteousness have gathered . . . politicians and self-appointed activists to whom CC provides a prominent platform for no-risk, low-cost virtue signalling. Following these are the ranks of empire building bureaucrats and a vast array of camp followers drawn by the scent of power and profits. It’s a heady mix and hard to resist.

The conspiratorial mentality stringing together a combination of out of context and imagined facts to concoct a 'narrative' is not a substitute for objective, conceptual understanding and verification. Are Democrats and their activist lawyers "conspiring" to prevent Kavanaugh from being on the Supreme Court? Of course they are. The reasons why, what they are actually doing, and the facts of Ford's beliefs, motives and actions are not explained by "deep ties" in a conspiracy concoction about the CIA controlling her and by substitute alternate realities proclaiming she once failed to kiss a boy.

EWV, you see this in a simple context, and do not believe or even seen to want to consider, such a thing as the deep state. That means the discussion would be fruitless on this. It is in the same place as trying to explain the the isolationist party before WW2, that Hitler and Nazi's were evil and would be coming after the U.S. soon, and the total rejection of the claim because there were no German guns firing, no bombs dropping. Only Pearl Harbor put an end to that nonsense. I do not choose to wait to see our next Pearl Harbor, there is a deep state, it does run a conspiracy, and they do manipulate people. Did they do Ford? Well, it sure did take a LONG time for her to surface, and when she does, it is a loose confabulation of events and a total lack of facts, perfect for the deep state media to spin any way they want. This was a sham and a setup and could not have been engineered by the likes of Fienstein and Co.I do not have to have proof since the glorious gestapo, er, CIA does all it's dirty work in the background and undercover, so it is kinda hard to reveal. It does have all the marks as a "potential" way it happened. It can also be the woman is a loon, take your pick.

No one said there is no such thing as the "deep state", meaning the collectivist-statist establishment entrenched within the government civil service itself. That does not make speculations about CIA conspiracies plausible. The accusations against Kavanaugh are logically baseless. No "explanation" of Ford's behavior is required to reject the accusations, whatever the nature of her problems that are being emotionally exploited by the Democrats. https://www.galtsgulchonline.com/post...

The "simple context" is the anti-conceptual mentality that gravitates to arbitrary conspiracy theories -- claimed to be so secret that no proof is possible or required -- substituting for objectivity and rational understanding based on fact, principles and the role of basic ideas in human action.

If they are logically baseless, then why did they get such traction with media (and I mean ALL media for the most part) every Democrat, raped women crawling out of the walls and ceilings, and accosting politicians, chasing them in public. Do you really believe this is all spontaneous? The Deep State goes way deeper than you are willing to allow, although your first assessment was correct, they have taken over the bureaucracy, the Veritas videos are good proof of that (and, yes, you do have to accept them as fact, or we might as well all go home and wait for the amplifier to get powered up).

The media always support left wing causes, based on the ideas they share. That is not explained by a supposed CIA plot controlling a university and a professor, conveniently claimed to be immune from the requirement of proof because it's "deep". That is a laughing stock, and the left is exploiting it to the hilt to ridicule the entire movement to stop them from controlling the court.

Is this a joke? "Truth Talk Network" is a religious web site, not evidence for a conspiracy theory claiming the "CIA controls the media narrative". The article is another example of the conspiracy theory mentality stringing together out of context and unverified 'facts' claiming to justify a concocted sweeping conspiratorial 'explanation' of national and world events. The whole approach is thoroughly anti intellectual and irrational. Promoting it does not belong on an Ayn Rand forum.

The article has no mention of religion.

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”

The "Truth Talk" website is filled with religion and characterizes the arbitrary thinking there. The sweeping CIA conspiracy theory of control of the media is absurd; it is not "proved" by an unsubstantiated "quote" from David Rockefeller (and which has circulated and re-circulated among conspiracy mongers for years). His own political views are well known; that does not mean he controlled the media in an ongoing CIA conspiracy. The whole mentality of conspiracy theories as sweeping 'explanation' is irrational and does not belong here.

So, is that logical? Rational? What percentage of Americans are considered Liberal? What percentage are Conservative? It means media is choosing to fight for approx 50% of the population, and leave the rest to, whoever. That says either media have 0 business sense, or media is so committed to the left wing cause, they will willingly sacrifice profit and income to ensure the left wing program is supported. There is a severe limit on conservative sites, none that really qualify as MSM, except maybe Fox, who are trying to walk a fine line. Of course, we can just write off the logic and pretend it's all just the fact the liberals love to do non working jobs, but I would say that is some evidence to support some other reason.

The intellectual establishment has been dominantly statist-collectivist for almost a century. They have never required that same percentage of Americans in general. They propagandize in the name of news and education, based on their own ideology, to everyone.

There's more to this than I can convey in this forum. I have found that many of the comments posted on this site are insightful, so all I can recommend is that you, and anyone else interested, learn about histrionic personality disorder, and then evaluate Dr. Ford's behavior when she testified. I think that will answer some of your questions. Good luck.

OK. I would suggest you start with the discussion in wikipedia.org: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histrio.... This will help explain much of her behavior, and give you insight about people with this condition; especially look at the DSM-IV-TR criteria. She meets at least 5 of the criteria. Thank you for your interest.

I don't doubt the appearance of her behavior (and that of many others at the hearing), but that does not answer the questions concerning legitimate medical diagnosis and conclusions that can be drawn about the veracity of her testimony. If you only intended to describe behavior, then that characterizes it in contrast to the bizarre CIA conspiracy "explanation", but that is to be dismissed anyway and watching her on TV is a long way from making medical conclusions and ruling out other possibilities.

Sorry. I'm only offering readers an opportunity to explore a medical approach to Dr. Ford's behavior. Sometimes a person's observed behavior is so obvious that it is easy to reach a diagnosis. This approach is used both in medical schools and medical symposiums that I have attended. We all do this in our lives to one degree or another. I hope that others may pursue learning about this. It provides an opportunity to gain a better understanding of what is going on. I thought that this audience might be interested.

It is interesting. Ford clearly has emotional problems driving what she portrays as a "civic duty". It is interesting that there is a medical concept categorizing her observable behavior. Do you think it is extreme enough to allow for a professional diagnosis based solely on a TV appearance, ruling out other possibilities? But it does not preclude the plausibility that something like what she described actually happened to her.

Her own problems are a separate issue from the logical dismissal of her accusations, and no explanation of her problems is required for that. But logic is not a strong point in the political realm today, and many people seem to emotionally require an explanation for her actions before dismissing her and her supporters' demands -- which is well beyond a simple desire to understand Ford's behavior in this circus.

Yes, the diagnosis is based on observed behavior. Of course, not all diagnoses are made by observation alone, but many mental health diagnoses can be. It is not my intent to be critical of her. Instead, I am encouraging readers to learn about this personality disorder and it's impact on Dr. Ford and her testimony. You don't have to delve into this subject if you don't want to. I'm merely offering this approach to help others gain a better understanding about this condition and it's effect on Dr. Ford.

She clearly has emotional problems, but it would be very damaging to focus on that while ignoring the volitional choices that Ford and the Democrats are making in their vicious attacks on Kavanaugh without regard to reason, logic, justice and civilized legal and political procedures. For all her problems, her emotional state is wound up with her ideology, thought processes and politics she promotes as a "civic duty"; she is not innocent and not a helpless innocent victim of a medical disorder.

Understanding her emotional problems is helpful, but not the essence: had she not thrust herself into the limelight with her willing collaboration with Democrat politicians and lawyers elevating her to such immediate political prominence, few would care about her because she is not otherwise important, as few care about the personalities making the more obvious arbitrary and bizarre accusations from the others the Democrats are pushing as a "pattern" in their sophistry of circular reasoning.

    I don't believe a word Ford said.

And BTW, I am tired of calling her "Dr". She is teaching in an obscure "university", that even those who live nearby never heard of.

What we know that she and her husband are tied in lucrative contracts with pharmaceutical companies manufacturing birth control medications. So she has a conflict of interest right there should Kavanaugh be confirmed and Roe vs Wade may be tried again.

I have many questions to ask her which the Judiciary Committee omitted to ask. One question is: she said the two boys locked the door of the bedroom when they confronted her. If that was the case and she managed to "escape" how did she open the door? Did it unlock itself?

Another question: she was 15 at the time of the "incident". Did she attend parties with boys regularly at that age? Were her parents aware of her "habit"? She stated at the hearing that she was not drinking, but previous information stated she was drunk. She was not of driving age: how did she get to the place of the party and how did she get home? The map shows her parents lived 8 miles away. Did she walk?

Bedroom door locks are convenience locks from the inside of the bedroom to keep people out but not to lock people in the bedroom. Since the bedroom side of the lock is just a finger twist, simple to get out. Outside can be several ways to unlock-- key, slot, or hole.

She also is not a licensed Psychologist, and therefore NOT LEGAL to represent herself using the word "Psychologist." I am sorry I don't have a link, but it's easy to google :-) That's how I found this out.

BTW that's not just a formality. A person cannot represent them as a doctor a lawyer or an accountant without a license in the state where they are practicing.

The purpose of that is to "protect the public," and (the real reason) to throw up some barriers to entry. Nevertheless, I think almost every - if not every - state has this sort of restriction in place.

BTW I don't believe a word she said either.

She testified that she recalls getting up when the three of them fell off the bed and "she ran out of the room".
Curiously, no mention of a door. My take is that the door was open. It was an innocent teenage girl kissing a teenage boy. Then the third guy came in . . .

You need to reread your comment from the link you provided

"The questions reported did not include Kavanaugh's name. The only two "relevant questions" reported from the polygraph test by the examiner, who was selected by her lawyers, were:

"Is any part of you statement false?"
        and
"Did you make up any part of your statement?".

But she was asked several questions as part of the polygraph test. The questions from which those two were selected were characterized as "includes relevant questions addressing the issues to be resolved by the examination, comparison questions to be used in analysis, symptomatic questions, and neutral or irrelevant questions. All questions were reviewed with Blasey prior to the test." (Different types of questions are included for calibration of the physical polygraph responses.)
        "

I do not need to reread my own post. What is your point? Kavanaugh's name was in the hand-written statement as "Brett" and in the interview as it was described. A big problem with the polygraph report to the Committeeis is that it filtered the actual questions asked, and filtered the verbal interview for which no transcript was provided, but for which the report's account contained Kavanaugh's name frequently. Whatever actually happened and was said in that session, no objective account as evidence would rely on Ford's lawyers to decide what is "relevant", what to omit, and what to paraphrase. My post described all this and more.

I am having trouble finding out if her dad is a country club mgr, or CIA.Her granddad is CIA. She is intern recruiter for the university CIA program. I would say, in any case, this was a set up job, she was brainwashed to have false memories, or drugs were used, as she has done research in psychotropics, part of so many school shootings.

As with all things, there are facts and then there are pictures. I cannot say she is the lawyer, as HillaryBeasts photographer is also looking sort of like that as well. Then we know Clinton is a criminal and this whole operation has a stink of Clinton to it. Even the twitter feed seem confused. I am sure though, Q will know. Q knows EVERYTHING.

We will see Nickursis, from my stand point the only one leading the opposition to these socialist fascist indentify unjust warriors is ....
President Donald J Trump. Q has been doing his part . With the dirty dossier exposed as a mirror (think mirror) to what POTUS had a FISA on him essentially . These Traitors that signed those phony FISA warrants working with foreign agents have legit FISA 's to surveil them.We are are in a war with the global statist cabal. Does everyone think that they aren't fighting back.
"He is going to start nuclear war with N Korea" "Russia collusion Trump tower" "Tear babies from mother's breast at border" "Stomy Daniels" "Golden showers" " disasterous trade war" " destroy NATO" " Puerto Rico hurricane "
He is abused and misrepresented by the fake news and it would be the same for anyone else in his shoes doing what he is GOING to do. New Playbook.
Throw an emotional wrench ,Sexual abuse (projection like always ) to distract any reason regarding Kavanaughs character. This is one fine man who
Has by far achieved more than 99% of the people in this country. I would be proud to know him.

Ah, Dob, did you see the thing that was one of the Q focus points: Lindsey asking specifically about the state of war, the use of court-martials on civilians and the fact they executed 2 spies in WW2 using those laws? If they didin't get the message of the storm coming for them, they are worse than stupid, as they have a lot of criminal acts to answer for. Even if they lose in November, they can drop the sealed indictment on the members of Congress who are criminals, and make the evidence public, and then we can have a do over next year when the dust settles. The Republicans that are supposedly "panicking" at losing the House and Senate in November, must not be in the know, or have their own crimes to worry about. Imagine what happened AFTER AS ended, the total tear down of the government to have to rebuild because they were all criminals. Ayn Rand may have actually foretasted the future for real.

Well, if so, then she grew up in a family that would have taught her to speak up. She would have had reason to think that her parents would have come to her rescue if she really was brutally attacked.
    She didn't.
Instead, more plausibly, she was an embarrassed teenager that tried to kiss a boy and it didn't go so well.

That speculation is more arbitrary and strained than the accusations from the left. You know nothing about how her parents raised her, let alone why what you stated would follow from the bizarre claim that her family is "owned by the CIA". It is not implausible that she went up the stairs to the bathroom and was pulled into a bedroom by a drunk at the party, as she described. An "embarrassed teenager that tried to kiss a boy" and which no one else was talking about for over thirty years would have no reason to make anything up about the ordeal she experienced.

So, a few more articles with more details, names, and connections:

    https://yournewswire.com/christine-bl...

Some interesting data regarding the whole setup:

    https://phibetaiota.net/2018/09/owl-a...

Of course, the whole issue is a distinct lack of facts, many fake news agencies and twists and turns that take one true fact and make 3 sort of trues. But it still does not make any sense, and she definitely lied about the airplane trips and the total lack of facts (which get wrapped up in the whole "trauma" thing as the justification, but boy, she sure knows it was Kavanaugh, but not anything else). So, how much faith do people have in the goodness and grace of the CIA, and it's professed love for the President and the country?

Lots of rumors, little fact, perfect material for the Democrats and their deep state allies to play with. There sure seems to be enough video of screaming screeching women, all crawling out to profess how they were raped 10, 20 30 years ago and "why don't you care" screeches. Yet Lindsey hit the nail on the head: "Go tell the cops". None of the screechers ever seemed to think that they own their own lives and souls.

People say the Democrats' goal is to delay the confirmation until they control Congress. They would be thrilled with that outcome, but I think the real benefit to them is the type of discussion on this post. I don't know if it's a plan or just luck. But they want to make this into a referendum on whether we take accusations of crime seriously. People seem to have a hard time making the argument that they abhor violence and they take all allegations seriously, BUT that does not imply we delay anyone starting a high-ranking job when an allegation comes out. It's easier to dismiss the accuser as mentally ill or part of a conspiracy. That makes me sick. The whole thing makes me sick.

If I believed in this partisan shit, I should be saying "Great! This is just the type of accusation that makes Republicans make total asses of themselves. Please, let's keep talking about the alleged victim's mental health and conspiracy connection. Millions of people affected by violence are associating Republicans with laughing off violent crime. Score one for the good guys (i.e. my party = Democrats)!" But I don't believe in partisan politics. I'm really concerned that citizens don't realize how fragile a democratic republic is. Some serious problem will occur that will make people "come together" and forget about goat rodeos like this. But will they come together under a banner of liberty or or trading away liberty for security?

The time to get serious is before the crisis. Liberty is in grave peril. It's not from dark plots. It's forgetting the very idea of justice being blind and gov't being limited by a Constitutional framework.

CG, spoken like a true patriot of the left. Liberty is in grave peril from a fascist democratic party that will lie, cover up, manipulate, obfuscate and break laws for their own narrow goals, and screw the rule of law. They have had these people commit perjury, and when the republicans win in November, they will all be running for cover and screaming when the DOJ starts THEIR investigations. If you want to live in la la land and believe "nothing to see" in regards to the last 8 years of democratic rule, fine. A lot of us have seen the lies, the obfuscation, the manipulation, the use of all the stereotypes and ism, the labels, the MSM use to cover the real issues and hide them behind rhetoric. If you want to believe in little ponies and kind politicians, fine. I do not choose to live through Atlas Shrugged for real, and since there is no real Gulch to go hide behind the invisible force field, I choose to NOT believe in the goodness of Clinton and Obama, and believe in the evil of the democratic machine.

The threat to the entire culture of this country is much deeper than the Democrats as a party. The staggering acceleration under Obama, threatened to continue under Clinton, stands out at an immediate level, but the Repbublicans' 'me too but slower' is no better in principle. They are statists without the more overt nihilism, but are pursing the same statism under the guise of 'managing' it more 'civilly' at a slower pace. The entire uproar in the Kavanaugh nomination shows the anti-reason, subjectivist, disruption from all quarters, at an intellectual level far deeper than politics, including much of this thread on this forum.

So, then, what would you propose to confront such a threat? Obviously, installing a constitutional judge vice a political appointee is terrifying to the democrats, so how would you say we stop it?

Political battles must be fought as they come up when possible for as long as it still is possible, but don't temporize. The battle for the nation and the country is a philosophical battle for the right ideas -- with principles of reason and individualism, not partisan maneuvering between political parties that are only following the same false premises in the same direction. The kind of responses we have seen over the Kavanaugh battle mostly reveal very bad thinking much deeper than politics. Spreading subjectivist conspiracy theories as an answer to the current Democrat intellectual and political nihilism only makes it worse.

Democrats' immediate goal is to derail the Kavanaugh nomination. As always they are pursuing it with their phony moralizing twisting real justice into the lefts' aberration of 'social justice', which anti-reason collectivism is their long term goal and whose implementation requires government unconstrained by the Constitution -- which is why they are after Kavanaugh to begin with.

No one is "laughing off violent crime". Taking crime seriously does not mean indefinitely hounding the innocent just because someone has made an accusation that can't substantiated but he wants it endlessly pursued without regard to logic and justice. An accuser's mental health is not relevant to arbitrary accusations, and neither are dark conspiracy theories from the anti-conceptual mentality. That three ring circus of hounding in an anti-intellectual free for all against the innocent is serious crime itself and should not be imposed by government. Even some Republicans on the committee can see that, perhaps because they finally caught on to the Democrats' tactic of turning every hearing into a circus.

"Liberty is in grave peril" because reason, logic, justice and individualism are being abandoned. It is much broader than this latest circus.

For some discussion on this forum of the Ford circus that rejects the conspiracy theories see https://www.galtsgulchonline.com/post...

"Democrats' immediate goal is to derail the Kavanaugh nomination. "
I think you are wrong about that, but their motivations are immaterial. Different leaders may have different motivations.
"requires government unconstrained by the Constitution -- which is why they are after Kavanaugh to begin with."
I don't think Kavanaugh has an unusually strong record on Constitutional limits for gov't, and even if he did, I don't think that's the motivation behind the politics.

"No one is "laughing off violent crime"."
It only takes one example to falsify a "no one" claim. IMHO Democrats are shamelessly trying to goad Republicans into laughing off crime, with varying degrees of success.
"That three ring circus of hounding in an anti-intellectual free for all against the innocent is serious crime itself"
""Liberty is in grave peril" because reason, logic, justice and individualism are being abandoned. It is much broader than this latest circus."
Yeah. It's much broader. This circus will be forgotten and replaced with next circus. I do not know why it's happening. I sometimes think the Internet gives content providers the ability to give people more of what they look at rather than what they would request. So craning your neck at a wreck turns into a request for more morbidly fascinating wrecks. Maybe that begets train-wreck attention-seeking behavior on the part of politicians. People might have the same level of reason, logic, justice, and individualism, but then their attention is diverted to lurid spectacles instead of reasoned discourse. I don't know. I'm speculating. I''m deeply concerned about how serious decisions are being turned into one three-ring circus after another.

Democrats have made it more than clear for months that they were trying to stop the Kavanaugh appointment and would have done the same for anyone else on Trump's list of possible nominees. They turned the Senate hearing into a circus before the Ford theatrical production. They are still protesting the appointment. Of course stopping it was their goal. It was also Ford's goal. She said she told her story now because she doesn't want someone like him on the court. She not only waited over 30 years to make her accusation; she never pursued it legally, even now, only in politics to try to derail the nomination.

Kavanaugh may be much weaker on limited government than is widely believed -- he could turn out to be another Kennedy 'swing vote' on crucial issues. But he is "conservative" enough in adherence to the Constitution in comparison with the leftists on the Court that the Democrats wanted him stopped "by any means necessary" because of it.

No one in this controversy has laughed off violent crime. Ford has been mocked for her testimony, not for the kind of assault she thinks someone did to her. She was taken seriously as sincere and believable until the campaign of farcical accusations went on for too long, by any foot-dragging method possible, despite being refuted in her accusations against Kavanaugh. By the time the circus continued for weeks she deserved to be mocked, but no one laughed at "violent crime". That is the rewrite by Democrats attempting to smear their opponents as the Democrats pursued their turning of due process and burden of proof upside down in accordance with the ideology of their misogynist 'social justice' campaign claiming a "woman's accusations must be believed". They were properly morally repudiated.

The three ring circus is not inexplicable. The hysterical irrationalism is a result of the way the perpetrators think combined with deliberate New Left gorilla theater political activism in accordance with Saul Alinsky nihilism. They were not passive observers like those seeing a train wreck; they planned and caused it. It's the way they think. This was followed by a band-wagon effect among Republicans suddenly proclaiming all kinds of agreements, including the willingness to make a hero out of the likes of Susan Collins, whom many of them despise. The spreading, hysterical irrationalism in mob thinking, which is deeper than politics, is the more fundamental threat.

Liberty is in peril in general, not just from Democrats, despite all the attention at the moment on their circus antics to be disruptive. This problem is much deeper than any particular political party or politics at all.

This is the article she co-authored. It is not about creating false memories and has nothing to do with the CIA.

      https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/p...
"Meditation with yoga, group therapy with hypnosis, and psychoeducation for long-term depressed mood: a randomized pilot trial", Journal of Clinical Psychology 2008 Jul;64(7):806-20

Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CA 94305-571, USA.

      Abstract:

"This randomized pilot study investigated the effects of meditation with yoga (and psychoeducation) versus group therapy with hypnosis (and psychoeducation) versus psychoeducation alone on diagnostic status and symptom levels among 46 individuals with long-term depressive disorders. Results indicate that significantly more meditation group participants experienced a remission than did controls at 9-month follow-up. Eight hypnosis group participants also experienced a remission, but the difference from controls was not statistically significant. Three control participants, but no meditation or hypnosis participants, developed a new depressive episode during the study, though this difference did not reach statistical significance in any case. Although all groups reported some reduction in symptom levels, they did not differ significantly in that outcome. Overall, these results suggest that these two interventions show promise for treating low- to moderate-level depression."

The Federalist tried to turn it into a 'smoking gun' here: https://thefederalist.com/2018/10/01/... Apparently the conspiracy crowd took it from there. Please do not embarrass this forum with more of that.

"Dr" means that she earned a PhD at the University of Southern California. She works as a research and teaching professor, specializing in statistical design of studies in psychology. It's not a criminal conspiracy pretending to be a medical doctor following mind-altering drugs secretly administered by the CIA.
