Innovation isn't always pretty, or as Ludwig von Mises said: "When modern industry began to provide the masses with the paraphernalia of a better life, their main concern was to produce as cheaply as possible without any regard to aesthetic values."

    Funny...those that condemn Materialism have no spiritual values either...they reject that too!

    It's amazing how "materialism" is condemned by those who have the luxury of unimaginable living standards compared to their grandparents.
