Smart Meters are a Fourth Amendment Search

I consider any use of a "smart meter" by the government to be search and seizure. The point where I differ from the judges on this case is where the search is "reasonable". They must have ignored the part of the Fourth Amendment where it specifically notes that ANY search must be accompanied by a WARRANT specifically detailing what is to be searched and (optionally) seized. Given that there is no standing warrant, by definition these searches are unConstitutional.

What say you?

Agree. Anything that a government agency uses to monitors and records any of an individuals activities is a violation of the 4th amendment. This incoudeds regulated industries like power, phone water etc. very similar to the collection efforts of the NSA.
All of these efforts should be banned as a violation of the 4th amendment.
