Harris wanted to know what he will do to make sure that LBGT "rules" would be honored in his department. Pompeo emphasized that the main idea is the country's security, which Harris ignored off hand, pressing on with her vicious agenda.

I find it difficult to believe that the country - at least normal people - can't see through the totally unhinged direction the left is heading to.

Then there was her appearance on the DeGeneres show where she was asked what would she do if she was locked in an elevator with Trump and Pence? Kamala asked: Should we all come out alive? Which was applauded by DeGeneres as both were convulsing with laughter.

Is this person a Senator? I know California should be written off as part of the country, but there are sane people there, too, even though they are persecuted and vilified at every turn of their lives.

I try to make my liberal relatives and acquaintances understand that redistributionist actions are nothing but a new take on slaughtering the goose that lays the golden eggs, but they've latched onto the new propaganda about "inequality." The fact that the poor in America live better than 99% of the rest of the world's people has made the idea of a "war" on poverty have less impact. Now the cry is that it's just evil that one corporate boss makes 300 times what his secretary does. Wealth jealousy, because someone can afford more cars, fly first class, and take expensive vacations is a corrupting disease that liberals have eagerly spread.

However, I propose that it is not as absurd as it first appears, IF the intent is different. Currently, there are many assistance type programs and tax incentivized "help" across many governments. So, eliminate them all and replace with a vastly simpler direct payout to citizens.

This would eliminate Billions of $ of bureaucratic waste and remove the micro management distortions to the economy.

Same as a tax cut for some and welfare for others. But still will end in tax increases to pay the bills or else increase the debt to be paid by taxation or printing more paper money. Just an incentive for some to work less down to the windfall amount for those getting the welfare.
Here in Wisconsin there is a Homestead law where a portion of real estate or rent tax is refunded to those with lower incomes, up to about $27000 income, in a graduated way.
On another topic. Here in Wisconsin the lying politics is in full form. Gov. Walker got property taxes frozen for the last four years. His challenger needs more tax money to pay for the 1.8 billion dollar increase in spending for education that he proposes and claims the somehow Walker himself had taken $800,000,000 away from the schools. He also is trying to get the voters to believe that if you have ever been sick, you will not be able to get health insurance and thus pre-existing conditions should be covered by insurance.
I have blocked most robo political calls by NoMoRobo. The free version though my cable company works well. Just one ring for a blocked call, though nothing comes up on caller ID, but on Charter the number shows on the TV screen.
