Atlas Shrugged Pothole in California

I was caught in the traffic from this on the way in to work today. It was bad. There were cars scattered along the shoulder, many with 3 or 4 flats. Several had the oil pans ripped open. One lost all 4 tires and smashed into the wall. All this after gas tax on top of gas tax for decades for what?...fixing the roads. My first words once we finally got to work..."right out of Atlas Shrugged"

This is in my hood too. I work in W. Sac (the Ziggurat Bldg), but usually take 99. I have a co-worker who was affected by the traffic, but didn't hit the pothole. And totally agree, plenty of taxes have been collected to perform adequate maintenance.
