    It reminds me of my first introduction to economics as a kid in Kingdom of Mocha. It was a filmstrip they showed us when I was 10. It starts out with a primitive society, possibly inspired by Polynesia, that gradually develops a more sophisticated economy. You can find it on YouTube now.
