Great Cartoon. Now how do we make it a real carton and convince these people that they are on the wrong path to saving the country?
Logic and reason have never persuaded a "True Beliver" about anything much less political ideas deeply ingrained into the psyche.
If anyone has an approach short of violence or incarceration let's discuss.

If I had lots of money I would send to all the Dimms in Congress a copy of Atlas Shrugged and Mark Levin's book Rediscovering Americanism (which I'm currently reading). Having experienced the utter disregard of congressional representatives for their constituency(emailing form letters from their DC offices) once they get elected I'm not sure how that can be changed. I believe it's a pervasive beltway disease that takes hold in government that warps their brains.

Laughing...all the quotes certainly do not represent a country that deserves to be loved...unless you are a previously progressive and now a postmodern demoncrap and as usual, making no sense at all.

Great compilation of rhetoric...thanks for posting

What gets my goat about all these hysterical progressives is their feigned "love" for this country. There is nothing of the kind. A love of the United States of America is only real if it is an actual love for the principles of its founding: truth, liberty, freedom, and individuality. Democrats despise all of those notions.

Utopian ideology is hard to combat, especially in an affluent society that is blind to their good fortunes, and only sees the imperfections of their present state. As Eric Hoffer points out in his study of mass movements, revolution never comes from the truly destitute, who are too busy trying to survive. It comes from a middle class envious of those wealthier than themselves, led by an elite who see the path to greater wealth and power through their blind followers.

Sometimes these ego-driven elite actually do think that things would be closer to a perfect society, fair to all, if only they had the reins of power. However, most of the time, these "leaders" are arrogant, narcissistic autocrats, unfeeling of the damage they bring once in power. Those who resist their "transformed" society must be reeducated or eliminated, so they don't lead others to become too independent.

God help us all if these misguided souls actually do grasp the reins of our government. Individual liberty will be dead.

Can't convince very many people on the Gulch. Need to leave and engage people who think like this and get them to see for themselves their contradictions.

My wife and I have tried to talk to the Dem and other lefties and use facts and logic to enforce the ideas we are talking about. The majority of the people we talked to said " You facts and not really facts. they are the opinions of right wing nut cases like Limbaugh, Hannity and Levin"
What I find interesting is that they know these men and know what each as said. they cannot do the dame for the information and "Facts" they offer in support of their POV. Almost all use the ubiquitous "They" as their source.
Very hard to combat these "facts" when they give no sources
