Rand Paul says he will support Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh

"I believe he will carefully adhere to the Constitution and will take his job to protect individual liberty seriously," Paul said in a statement.
I agree with Sen Paul. There is nothing in the judges record (very extensivem 300+ opinions) that indicates he would legislate from the bench or rewite the Constitution.

    I (and I think Rand Paul) are for limiting the power of the Executive Branch. I have concerns about Kavanaugh on that issue, BUT I don't think it's Congress's jog to reject someone over such a minor disagreement. It's the president's prerogative, and unfortunately the power of the presidency keeps expanding. Congress should assert its power in other ways and confirm court nominees that don't have serious issues.
