Oops - Progressive politician caught saying exactly what he means
What's telling are all of his ideological buddies who are calling him out for exposing their true agenda: progressives really do think of themselves as elitists and the rest of us as peons to do their bidding.
It irritates me when people who push things that are wrong (such as denying people's right to self-defense) compliment themselves, or their proposals, by calling them "common sense". Is that supposed to be some cover-up for tyranny?---Of course it is.
And millions of people, yes millions, vote for this.
They actually vote for, "I am incompetent, please leaders save me."
Beyond my ability to comprehend.
Both smiled at an admiring crowd from which came forth a guy with a ponytail.
The ponytail guy asked them, "How will you take care of us?"
Perhaps due to my groaning, I can't recall what response if any followed.
I've tried to find a video of this but have failed to me dino sorrow.
Try: www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2010/10/15...
Appears that a dino memory condenses blather of the creaky past to the nitty-gritty like Reader's Digest alleges does to articles and feature stories.
Though I originally saw the ponytail guy on TV, now I also recall Rush making fun of him on the radio.
government to be my parents."
In his last speech that me dino listened to last week, Trump claimed people receiving food stamps is at a big time low.
So it looks like socialists aren't running things for the time being.
Do not fret. The ponytail purpose of government shall return to full steam once the wrong people get to run things again.
Trust the media to help out with that.
The other program that has really ramped up that people tend to miss is Social Security Disability. The numbers on that one just keep going up and its a racket.
My neighbor to the north of me went on it Nine years ago... A "Bad Back" he claimed to have. Then, two years ago, I hear a sound (I work from home in IT / telecommute). I look out my window and see a man chopping firewood with an overhand motion and ax ... loading a wheel barrow. This is the guy with the "bad back." He is also working a garden, walks dogs up and down the relative high points in the community ... and his wife will exclaim, "George has been working his ass off!" -- then she realizes what she has said, and quickly lowers her eyes and leaves the room. George just shrugs. BTW -- she is a teacher in WA State ... recently retired with a solid gold state teacher's pension. One more brick in the layer of unfunded govt liabilities.
Once on SSDI, the checks just keep rolling in. My neighbors to the east ... he is on it for a "bad back" and can often be seen conducting efforts on his woodworking projects. His wife is on it for "fibromyalgia" -- the disease with the dubious distinction of being diagnosed based on its symptoms. She lovingly cares for her raised-bed garden and flowers.
It is a fraud. One of my old friends used to work as a Private Investigator -- his bread and butter was researching workers comp fraud. That business has vanished -- the State kicks these cases up to the Federal level. Get the support of an attorney that specializes in SSDI and you are now on the gravy train. It is costing nearly $200 Billion a year and sends checks to 11 million adults ... equal to the entire population of Washington, Oregon and Idaho. It is sickening.
Project Veritas or one of the other "Expose the Liberal Scams" groups should point a spotlight on this disease.
BTW: I have movies of my neighbor and his Lumberjack antics.
And there's that gossip about (an at the time) fellow corrections officer who bought a cane before hobbling into the warden's office with a disability claim. He got it too. Then he became a farmer and has been seen without a cane.
If it were up to me, this program would disappear overnight. Let State governments engage in this at their own peril but to me this is for private charities only. They have local oversight and usually care about the money they are spending.
