One of the best short videos yet, detailing point by point how the left is radically morphing into a groupthink it once despised.

“The Democratic Party has taken for granted that it owns racial, sexual, and religious minorities in America. It has encouraged groupthink, hypocrisy, division, stereotyping, resentment, and the acceptance of victimhood mentality. And all the while, they have discouraged minorities from having independent thought, open dialogue, measured and informed opinion, and a motivation to succeed.”

    The most interesting thing about this video is how he talked about being a liberal as a club. It's as if the leader just did something unacceptable to him so he sent them a letter renouncing his membership.

    At the beginning he says he believes in some things consistent with American liberalism and/or classical liberalism. He says he has seen a some nutjobs calling themselves liberal, so he's dropping out of the club. The nutjobs are real. But the problem is not liberals failing to revoke the nutjobs' liberal card or whatever. The problem is thinking he has to buy all his thoughts as a package deal from a group. It seems like the people who wrote this script fancy themselves as an ideological vanguard seeking to win followers or poach away some other group's followers.

      He lists out a series of illiberal actions by leftists, which grow worse every year. Very few of the left condemn these leftist actions. More and more they seem to be joining the leftist club, adding these to the left collective. Thus, #walkaway.

        I don't get the club. I know it's real, but I don't know why anyone would want to join, except for people who work in politics.

          The brainwashing children and students have been receiving for 3 decades is the main reason they "join the left".
          A constant drumbeat of negativity towards capitalism. Ignoring the ill fated Socialist Nations that are a disaster worldwide. Making choices on policy based on emotions versus facts.
