It keeps getting better: Parkland government ineptness
Now one can argue that there are many students who don't go on shooting rampages just because they get denied help. It can be argued that this is a perfect storm of government failure. It doesn't alter one bit the reality that government took on the responsibility and then proved utterly incapable of following through. As a result, seventeen people are dead.

Government control? Really? The Government has the ability to control people to such an extent? Really?
So murderers are not bad, they just had a bad upbringing … poor things.
If only a "counselor" would've advised them to not do that. Government has control over everyone. They are the solution to all problems. LOVE the government. Maduro and Chavez will make all of us love each other.

My point was that there were so many times in the Parkland issue where Nanny Government mandated "control" of a situation and then were either completely incompetent or chose not to obey their own edicts. And yet there is all this hand-wringing about how the problem is personal firearms.
And yes, the jump to, "the Government needs to control weapons" is just more nonsense in the wrong direction.
