Democrats recent treatment of children.

In March of 1993, The United States Supreme Court issued a ruling in Reno v Flores. (Yes, “That” Reno. Janet Reno, Bill Clinton’s first Attorney General who ordered that young Elian Gonzalez be torn from his family’s arms while hiding in a Miami closet. You might remember the iconic photograph.)

The Court in Reno v Flores decided that minors could not be incarcerated with the adults accompanying them across the United States border illegally. The decision was the result of a long dispute in how to best care for these children while the adults were detained for criminal proceedings.

As a result, The Flores case drew a line in the sand. Children could not be incarcerated with their parents or accompanying adult while being held for illegal immigration violations. And a subsequent 1997 agreement stipulated that children must be placed in a safer environment where they could enjoy certain privileges, including education, a clean, safe environment and other normal life cycle amenities that incarcerated individuals do not enjoy.

It was considered a “victory” for human rights. By separating adult and child, we protected the children, reducing any harm done to them for their parent’s or accompanying adult’s decisions

Many recent fake news stories show photos from 2014 when complaining about the undocumented illegal alien childrens care under Trump admin.

Being a parent in California... As soon as I hear about Democrats caring about children I'm out of the conversation.

I was just listening to a show that was discussing our present level of attention to the news...today, it is as time consuming as following your favorite team; whereas, prior to 9/11 and by comparison, we were not all that engaged in the issues, the news nor the media; They could never pull off what they do today prior to 9/11. (back to my "Not doing business with them idea).

Today it's over the top, we are divided and distracted by it.

I think we should encourage the hatred of trump and obstruction from Democrats. This will help to turn people away from the Democrats. They don’t love smerica

People are awakening...those away from the propaganda centers anyway. It's hopeless in the cities though. I suggest we do away with them...to much of a liability. They are not protective, instead, they are places we need protection from.

Your point about their egos feeding on attention is right on. Maybe that means addressing the issues but not acknowleging the leftist. opponent. I do remember in one of ayn rands novels. A collectivist asking what one of the hero characters thought of him- and the devastating answer was that he didn’t think of him

What seems to have really disturbed the leftists was that half the country just ignored the propaganda and anonymously voted for trump and brexit in the quiet of the voting booth

I have thought people just were tired of government intrusions, were looking for more common sense solutions, and thought Hillary was an evil and vicious bitch covered by a thin veneer of handler-inspired smiling face

the dems do not want to be confused with facts...neither does the main media...it is only about politics...and getting re-elected and a populace that has been dumbed down and only taught to be loyal subjects...

but the collapse will come...reality bits back...be prepared...

Hmm...if no dissent then their must be agreement...so double down. You are probably right there.
Their egos do demand attention though, and that was where I was coming from.

The looking around to make sure no one was listening you observed, I think, was also part of the process with the Brexit vote too.

I think they would assume and claim everyone is in agreement with them if there was no dissent. Anonymous voting is a good way to voice dissent. That’s what happened with trump

During the weeks leading up to the 2016 election whenever I would casually show support for something trump said , the response was usually to look around to see if anyone was listening and then quietly agree with me

I had a strong feeling he was going to win from that experience, and he did. I used to say “in the quiet of the voting booth, people tend to do what makes sense to them”. Hillary was an evil witch deep down, and a lot of people just “knew it “ and voted her down as happened twice before.

Trump brings out a lot of common sense which is what comes thru in the quietude of the private voting booth.

As long as we have anonymous voting, I think the approach of just ignoring these collectivists will work. The leftists still don’t know why they lost in 2016

You may be correct and it is probably much to late to punish them with non involvement and boycotts.

But I do think that by not getting caught up in their arguments, not listening would at least minimize them and perhaps the market would have to respond..."no one is talking about your story, your opinion...no one is aware that you exist therefore...Your Fired!

If you are serious, you may need to consult with my factotum and fiduciary, my son Steven. I am torn between embarressment and pride in that someone with your astute mind is interested in preserving my words..

I would say that the leftists would rather that we ignore them and not argue. I would agree as to not doing voluntary business with leftists.
But they control so much of the economy it’s nearly impossible for them NOT TO BENEFIT FROM ANYTHING WE DO. Even John halt would have had to pay them sales, payroll, and income taxes. He was portrayed as living a very spartan life- so he didn’t support the leftists like most us do today

We are required thru involuntary taxation on nearly everything to support the leftists
    almost constantly

We can vote still, but the majority in this mob rule world believe in collectivism

I took it from the "Used" recycled Charmin perspective...just Think of all the things you use charmin/tissue/toilet paper for and then to recycle it?...that would change My hormones for sure!

There is investigative work that suggest that GMO's/roundup Does disrupt hormones but I never knew TP could be recycled from junk mail and credit cards...seems to me to be just as bad as GMO's and roundup.

No ,seriously, I was referring to the effects on the body from TP made from recycled junk mail, credit cards, etc. There are substances in such trash that some studies (in animals I think) show making significant changes in hormones and may be the cause of hormonal imbalances.

I still think, as I wrote in 2010/12, is to Stop doing business with them , although my thoughts were on the upper creatures in this meme, I now think we could just not respond to the MSM, no texts, not tweets and not a hint of acknowledgement on fascist book...But How can we get that kind of cooperation?

I'm hoping that someone will compile my bon mots into a book, published after my death so I can be proclaimed a great wit, but will not have to put up with the bullshit that fans would write.
