Judge upholds DACA - despite the fact that Obama himself acknowledged its illegality
This judge needs to be impeached. When then-Presdent Barack Obama initiated the DACA program it was illegal! Obama - a lawyer himself - had even acknowledged prior to that time that he, himself, did not have the legal authority to make unilateral changes to immigration policy. This judge's arguments are irrelevant if the underlying policy itself is indefensible.
Pipe dream to implement but how true that impeachment is ineffective.
An automatic mechanism would work much better. Senate would still have to do their job and authorize but it would let the Senators off the hook politically. They could say we are just supporting the higher level judges.
