I'm not surprised that the Facebook gnomes couldn't stand it. I remember a time when patriotism was a thing to be desired. You got chills when the fat lady sang "God Bless America"Kate smith was her name and she has a beautiful voice with the power to knock down pillars.There are none like her today.Her radio show filled with patriotism and good news and positive energy made you feel good to listen to it.Today that style of show wouldn't make it through the pilot phase before being canceled. Why are Desilu and Mayberry still popular? Could it be that they were heartwarming and funny and the family could watch it and get some laughs.Yes, there's room for drama, but does it need the S word every two sentences? It doesn't do a thing to heighten the drama. Yes, there can be sexual situations because that reflects real life, but the steamy parts are told in passing, not needed as the focus. Am I being prudish? Don't I use those "bad" words in my posts? The Gulch is a blog site of like-minded persons in a certain setting not for the general public. This is where it is OK. We need a change in the culture not censorship. Unless Facebook announces what it will and will not censor. But they'll never do it because they know it would offend 50% of their followers.

I doubt there is anything as involved as an algorithm...Some snowflake no doubt heard it and complained. If the song had been Kneel to the fag [as Allasour mentioned] they would have ignored the complaint, or lectured the complainant on freedom of speech. Instead the complaints guy, some greasy lib working out of his mothers basement, was probably as horrified as was the original snowflake, and happily blocked it.

Anyone who believes that Facebook is a neutral arbiter of the news deludes only themselves. It's why I abandoned the site - and pretty much all of social media - long ago.

Facebook is liberal. All non liberal ideas are to be squashed. There is to be ONLY leftist thinking allowed. Once they tag you for non appropriate thinking, then you will be ostracized. Socialism for all. Thats their agenda

I will not do Facebook. Never did feel it was any more than a liberal gossip site. They do not allow free discussion, only liberal propaganda. They make up their rules as they go, and make promises much as Hillary when she said she would not allow political dissent on the Internet. No free speech? This country was built on political dissent, which led to many a synthesis of ideas, otherwise you have communism.

Facebook's bots make crazy mistakes because they're not human. Last week they labeled the Declaration of Independence "hate speech" and blocked it. Why? Because in the last section that listed grievances against the Crown, accused the king of not defending the colonists against attacks by the "merciless savages" (American Indians), not comprehending historical context.
