What is the best diet for humans?

Objectivists may have guessed that this question is wrong on many different levels. This TEDx video talks about how to successfully answer the best diet question. The real answer for the best diet is based on what is best for each individual, and not on these one size fits all solutions. Some foods that are good for some people are bad for others. And the corollary, some foods that are bad for some people are good for others. Accepting that each of us is not equal will allow us to avoid or turn back some of the greatest health problems affecting the human body much sooner.

Live longer and prosper.

But the government tells me I need a flu shot every year too. How could that go wrong?

And you can do it all for free if you know where to look. See my comment below for links to three great sources.

Veggies are always good, especially raw. Fruits in moderation or not at all if you are sick.

Essentially correct but our bodies do need veges and or fruits to prevent disease. Ultimately doing an individual"s own genome will be able to direct what is best for each person. This is not far off. you can already do this for about 1000$ from veritas genomics with approval from your doctor

A doctor told my sister-in-law's mother to seriously cut back on carbohydrates.
Thinking of that and how Eskimos lived on seals and fish before meeting the white man, me dino asked my own doctor if humans could live without eating carbs.
    He simply said yes.
