Sad...if they only had a mind, they could focus all that emotion and receive the answers to which they might ask.
They are just lonely particles with no entanglements in sight.

Yeah, those clueless for history useful idiots probably think they we Americans have the good ole' Yankee ingenuity to make Bolshevik Bernie's socialism work.
Trouble is, socialism has as much in common with Yankee ingenuity as a rotting lemon does to a freshly baked apple pie.

"Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it." Winston Churchill. I think it was Lenin that called them "Useful Idiots"

The call of the loon was completely absent from my growing up Compass Lake experiences within the Panhandle of Florida. (All that added to benefit other readers).
There a visiting Connecticut cousin once asked me about a squawking caw, imaginig an African kinda bird from a Tarzan movie, since lots of Compass Lake still kinda looked like that when the Beatles were all the rage during the Sixties. That o so exotic bird was but hust some stupid crow.
As for the Minnesota state bird, I didn't like them by a cottage at Queen Lake, Massachusetts. A bunch of them attacked me in a weird swarming ball.
Hungry mosquitoes don't bunch up and pack animal hunt like that in Florida

Caller ID is after I run to the ring. So interrupted regardless but plenty worse things to get my undies in a bunch about. They are like mosquitos
Irritating but they have been called the state bird. The state bird is really a loon and silly folks are call a bit looney . I happen to remember the Yellowhammer from way down south in Dixie.
Funny and cool how capitalism embraces state birds or nicknames for identity. I back , in high school worked for Northstar Ice.

Having a caller ID, I used to ignore them. Now if I'm not busy, sleepy or whatever I'll answer to tell them to take me off their call list.
I'm polite. I'll say "Nothing personal but--"and add "Have a nice day" before pressing the hang up.button.
A month ago one young lady tried to stop me by saying, "Well, why would you want us to take you--" CLICK!
    Bwahaha! Me dino so mean.

Yes my wife was home today and asked me if we always get this many sales calls. Half a dozen or more daily.

A very good article. As the article summarizes, education is where Americans can and must stand their ground. If we lose education, which we have to a large degree, we will likely lose the founding principles of America in a generation.

Think I'll start donating to Hillsdale, since they hit on me from time to time. If you saw how much snail mail and email hits on me dino, you'd understand.
Note to self~Don't forget to scratch out the phone number on the check. If you knew how many phone calls--aw, never mind.

The author of the article is from a Minnesota org and a graduate from Hillsdale College .
Hillsdale gets a modest donation from DOB a few times a year, in fact I just put the first bumper sticker on my 9 year old Chev Malibu. It came from Hillsdale and says "I ❤️ The Constitution".
