Thanks for the comment, and the last sentence was paraphrased from something Jordan Peterson said. He addressed both the ingrates and acknowledged the possibilities we in front of us that our postmodern culture trashes.

I like the summary,
“In a society that champions individual liberty, creativity, and self-reliance, no one has to compromise. Instead, we should be grateful for the opportunity to be more than we are.”

Unfortunately the virtue of self-reliance is considered a vice among a growing number of more radical groups.
